Thanks a lot for the deep feedback! I'm actually working on the AIs but you might be right, it shouldn't be the priority right now.

And thanks for playing!

Right now, the BE-36 is the favorite pick to beat the sub 2:05 time.

No full support for racing wheels yet, but you are free to try!

Weather will be added in next updates!

Most cars are but some are just for fun or suggestions from other players.

What would you say is worse than before?

More coming soon!!! It's not on the notes, but I added your suggestion of going into reverse after long pressing "S" key

Same time? Cool game btw!

Hey! thanks for letting me know, I'll check it out and fix it in next updates

Hi! hmmm that's weird, are you using Godot 4.x by any chance? It might be causing the importing issue. You can also try convering the .FBX to .glTF using external tools like FBX2glTF or even Blender.

I'm not very familiar with the Godot engine so I can't pin point the exact problem.

Let me know how it goes, or if you need a .glTF/.glb export of the model.

About the Game:

Driftline Peaks is a touge racing game that challenges players to master the art of drifting across treacherous mountain passes. With tight corners, elevation changes, and retro scenic backdrops, each run tests your control and focus.

This demo features a single stage (playable in both day and night), a Time Trial mode, and three selectable cars with different specs. The gameplay emphasizes fast, responsive arcade physics prioritizing fun, slide-heavy drifting and precise cornering over strict realism, with a low-poly aesthetic inspired by PS1-era touge racing games.

This is a work-in-progress demo; features, physics, or visuals may change. More content may be added to this demo in future updates.

Download the Free Demo:🔗Play it here!

What to expect in the future?

  • New stages and more vehicles.
  • Game Modes:  Player VS CPU races, traffic challenges, free practice mode, and replay mode.
  • Multiplayer: Local splitscreen or online battles.
  • And much more!

Yeah! it's moi0210

Hey! it's moi0210

All I can say is: a new game is in the works, no release date yet.

And thanks for playing!

True, the ending was a little rushed

Hi! I wish I could help you but I guess the game doesn't have any controller/joystick compability. And I sadly cannot update it since I've lost the project files.

Thanks for letting me know! It should be fixed now

Hey! So the model has two separate materials, one for the body and one for the visor. In your case, for Unity, you can adjust the alpha value on the albedo map and also set the rendering mode to transparent/fade.

Let me know if you need help with anything else!

I'm planning on doing that!

Gracias por jugar!

Hey thanks for your feedback! I apologize for the rushed ending of the game, I made this game as a part of an experimental project to learn about game development.
