Thanks a lot for taking the time to play it and share your feedback! 🙌

I agree, especially about the first few minutes feeling a bit repetitive. I’m already thinking about adding more enemy variety, events, and things to interact with, as well as improving the visuals.

This is actually my first game, so feedback like this really helps me understand what I should focus on next.

And thank you for the follow! I’ll definitely check out your games too. Good luck with your projects as well! 🎮

I just released the demo of my first game — Cinderhaul 🎮

It's a bullet-heaven extraction roguelite built with Godot.

Your weapons fire automatically. You only control movement and dash — the challenge is positioning, surviving increasingly difficult waves, collecting loot, and deciding when to extract before you lose it.

This is genuinely my first game, so I’d really appreciate some feedback from people who play these kinds of games.

I'd especially love to know:

  • Is the first 5–10 minutes fun?
  • Does the progression feel too slow or too fast?
  • Is it clear what you're supposed to do?
  • How does the movement/dash feel?
  • At what point did you get bored or want to stop?
  • Anything confusing or frustrating?

You can play it directly in the browser or download it for Windows/macOS:

Don't worry about being nice 😅 — useful criticism will help me improve it a lot.
