Sure, I would just suggest that you can designate any NPC to be your heir as part of the Finance action. When you die, your trusts are dissolved for chrisos (as per the Finance rules), and your heir receives half of your chrisos and half of your holdings (determined randomly). They can immediately attempt to “Claim a title” as per the Influence action on all titles you hold.

I would give companions with Initiative 1 their own turn controlled by the player. Brave Beast has Initiative 0, but it can attack with the Beastmaster thanks to the special ability as you noted, so I think it’s powerful enough.

I think if you or someone in your group feels that this is too restrictive or no fun, it is more important to cater to that and talk about what seems fair, rather than doing what I would do at my table. If you are running the game, maybe you can arrange for them to go on a quest or find a magic item that grants their companion 1 initiative.

Deepdwn is quickly becoming my favorite markdown editor! I love how easy it is to keep all my stuff organized, and graphs+flowcharts are amazing. Apologies in advance if these suggestions are already in the pipeline or if “it’s not that simple.”

I know Markdown is usually rendering to HTML, I’d love to be able to point the app at a custom CSS file for both editor and preview window. (I would also love to exchange those files on this forum with your other users)

I’m sure some folks like the floating preview window, I personally would like to dock it in the window (maybe on the right side?) and expand/collapse just like files and outlines.

I look forward to new features. Thanks again.
