I DID read all that, but that's way too much for me to respond to, sorry. I knew about the pausing bug, and only ever got it once, while testing, I though it would never occur during this jam, since it's so rare, and I was right for a while, but apperantly it happened twice just today. I kinda didn't have a good way to fix it, and it's the only bug that persists even after loading a different scene.

As for the other things, I think mostly it's not a skill issue, dying to the greedy goblin, however ABSOLUTELY IS. I'm pretty sure you are the first person EVER to struggle on a goblin, at least everyone else I've heard from had asked me if I added them to make greed builds unnecessary, since they have terrible base stats with good defense, and drop a lot of shards. I added them for that exact reason, they're there to help the player, but I guess the defense should have been lowered, but I mostly ran damage builds in testing, so I didn't realise.

Thank you so much for taking the time to play, and give excessive feedback! Also, when I saw the followup comment, I almost threw my phone, haha.

Haha. I'll keep that in mind for the full release. I DID think the amount of times the heroine spoke was a little excessive... Thank you for playing!

I really hope you turn this into a fully-fledged game.

Not much gameplay, but the visuals were very fun. It feels like a strange choice to submit 2 games for such a short jam, but at least this one's less weird.

I like that you get to play as the goat of youtube. Rest in peace king, you are dearly missed.

No, the UI isn't obvious, that's on me!

If you click the sfx, music or speech icons on the right, you can adjust the volume of each. Sorry, if that wasn't clear from the UI, I've seen multiple people assume they just mute. Thank you for playing!

You will, soon enough. Keep making games!

Okay, that's also good, now no more ratings, for real this time.

I really don't understand what the shield is doing, and healing feels nigh-impossible, since your hp increases, but the healing is a flat amount, so you just end up losing hp when you heal... why? The shield felt entirely pointless to ugprade, as when you rolled it, nothing would happen. On my first run, killing 5-6 enemies, I didn't roll the crit a single time, I didn't even know it was an option until my second run, so the wheel doesn't feel very fair either. I really don't know how you can get father than like 7 enemies, since they scale WAY faster than you do, and there's not really much skill expression in the game as is.

It doesn't really seem like I can lose. I can just click the get chip button over and over again as many times as I want, but it is fun enough.

Kinda reminds me of the Henry Stickmin games I played as a kid. Pretty cool, I don't know what this has to do with spinning though.

I would have liked a lot more polish, and I didn't really enjoy the gameplay loop, since spinning makes aiming kinda hard, and you have to be pretty precise to actually hit something. It kinda doesn't feel like you have a goal, you just go outside and shoot things, and then come inside, to upgrade, but why? I don't even have a health bar to see how long I can stay out, I don't see how many scraps I'm getting from them, I don't even see when they're shooting at me, since the bullets are gray, and travelling kinda fast, while everything else is gray. Am I supposed to be able to dodge those bullets while spinning? I kind of agree with the last person that posted, that the scope should have been WAY smaller. It feels kind of rough to play as is.

Alright, we got 67 ratings, nobody rate no more. That's an order.

Yes. You have a small chance to get the "Repurpose" consumable, which, when you get it, removes every single item, and gives you 50 exp for each, effectively allowing you to rebuild to a certain extent.

Yeah, I should have gone with a more rounded, or squarical shape for the hp.

Funniliy enough, I have like a 50/50 mix of comments saying either they loved or hated the zoom. Maybe I should have added an option to disable it, haha. I didn't expect it to be so devisive.

Thank you for playing!

Thank you for playing! Yes, the "thank you"s get a little excessive.

Little fun fact, in one of the builds, the heroine would also react to adding something to the wheel, saying "Is this... what you like?", but it happened so often, that I was hearing her talk in my dreams, so I had to remove it.

Wow, thank you. The attack cooldown being -0.3 is a visual bug, it's capped to 0.3, since that's how long the attack animation takes. Thank you so much for playing!

Shit. Probably need to make a longer version, huh.

I like the concept a lot. It took me like 5 minutes that I was supposed to max out the distance, and then go back to 0, maybe you could add an indication that that's the case, like fish biting, or a cast/reel animation or event, so that I know that I'm casting the line, and then reeling the fish in.
I don't really like incremental games, but this was kinda cool. I didn't complete it though, it felt too grindy, the last upgrade I got was +50 money per sec, if you're curious how far I got.

How the fuck? How much did you play this? There's no way this is your first run. Bro, I can't even get past 15 minutes as the dev...

Just one more spin...

high five!

Thank you so much, if I may, I will also give criticism. I'd like to see a little more skill expression from your game, kinda personal preference, but I like games you can get good at. Otherwise, your game is also really polished.

It was actually 8 days. And that stat is kinda fake, it tracks the first submission. I uploaded a build every single day, so that was the first submission, uploaded roughly 6-8 hours after the jam started.

Wow, we made similar games. That's crazy.

Thank you so much for playing this on stream!

bro felt so tuff after saying that, but I know for a fact you grinded for 20+ hours to get that time.

I like the voice acting a lot. I wish it was possible to straight up get an upgrade, instead of trading a point of stat for another point of stat.

There's actually more options than the attack, if you go for items, and it gets quite chaotic. Thank you for playing.

Fun concept, but it gets very stressful by the end. Also, I wish the guy wouldn't go "uhh" every 2 seconds, when I obviously can't read what he's saying while 6 gears are ticking off slowly.

There's actually a lot of strategy involved, but thank you. I value that opinion.

Oh, wow, I didn't expect someone to study the game so well. You're completely right on the pause button, I kinda knew someone was gonna unfortunately get got by that, my bad, but it was too late to fix. I'm surprised cave spiders were the toughest though. I usually tested with greed + sharpened edge, later adding precision drugs and opportunistic, maybe vampirism or flasks, so I was almost always just one tapping them. I guess with an attack-speed build like yours, high hp monsters are pretty rough.

Yes, I was. If it's just me, just ignore it, whatever. Some idiot couldn't play, just focus on the feedback the majority of people are giving, it's fine. I didn't rate the game lowly because of that, don't worry.

Yeah, but it costs money to reroll doesn't it? I didn't have money, so I was kinda screwed. Tickets were worthless to me.

I had like a good 2nd round I think. I got like 60k gold I think, or something like that. I got really lucky, and that turned into like 500 tickets, and after that I just got more and more, because I couldn't spend them. I turned them into "YES"-es which was the most expensive one I could find, but eventually rerolling cost more than the upgrade would give me, so once again, I felt kinda powerless.

The story of midas. All the tickets in the world at my disposal, yet my only son, turnt to gold. Thus I too, like Midas, asked to rid myself of such power.

Truly a poetic experience.

Cool concept, but the controls feel really frustrating I'm not gonna lie.

Resolution could be higher, and I wish you unlocked stronger items. I swear I had like 1k tickets by the 4th round, I just couldn't spend them, and lost. I also wish rerolling cost tickets, that would be a lot cheaper than the money you have on that particular round. Overall pretty fun though.

Yeah sorry, my laptop is kinda old.

I have no idea what this has to do with spinning, but let's just say a lot of good men died today. I had to get that record somehow.
