Hello! The cooking portion is a rhythm game so you have to make sure you hit the interaction key at the right time to put together sweets on the conveyor belt! The quality of your sweets and restaurant are determined by how accurate you and your partner are!
The videos and other effects playing over the cooking portions are meant as a distraction to make the cooking portions a little more difficult with each kitchen o(>ω< )o I hope this helps!

There isn't any way to level up in the game, it's endless until all your active restaurants lose all their stars. Slimes will visit restaurants when they're hungry so you just have to make sure the stores have stock to feed the little guys!
