Hey everyone! I'm a self-taught game developer, been building for a few years now, comfortable with Unity/C#, pixel art, and game design/decision-making specifically.
Not necessarily looking to lead a team or commit to a huge role, more just offering to plug a gap wherever one exists. Need a quick sprite? A second pair of eyes on a mechanic? Someone to sanity-check scope so you actually finish in time? Happy to jump in.
If nothing comes up, no worries; I'll probably just join solo and build something small on my own. But figured I'd throw this out there first in case a team's missing exactly this.

Hey everyone 👋
Just released my first pixel art asset pack — Pixel Kitchen Vol.1
30+ hand-crafted food icons built for game developers.
Includes:
→ Raw ingredients
→ Cooked & fried variants
→ Fantasy food items
→ Full apple collection (whole, bitten, golden, poisoned)
Every pixel placed manually — no AI generation.
Free to download. Source .aseprite file available for those who want to customize or learn from it.
Would love feedback from fellow devs — always looking to improve for Vol.2 👇

30+ hand-crafted food icons for game developers.
Raw ingredients. Cooked meals. Fried variants. Fantasy items.
Built entirely from scratch — in evening sessions alongside a full-time job.
No shortcuts. No AI-generated art. Every pixel is placed manually.
Here's what I learned building it:
→ Start with the simplest shapes first
→ Build variants from existing work — doubles your output for free
→ Consistency of style matters more than individual quality
→ Done beats perfect. Every time.
If you're building an RPG, farming game, cooking game or any top-down adventure — this pack is free to download.
Source file available for developers who want to customize or learn from it.

There are too few shotgun ammo drops, maybe make that when an enemy with a shotgun dies, he should drop only shotgun ammo, not pistol ammo.
Also, there is no indication of where you can find a new gun, and how to switch, for hardcore gamers maybe it is easy to figure it out, but some people, will just play with a pistol
