GAME DEV IS HARD! I took a college course on Game development and this was my final project! We only had 2 months, but I learned so much and fell in love with the process of making games. My favorite part was level design, and making the spells come to life! I've played games all my life, but never thought actually making them was possible.
I tried to emulate some of my favorites games like the FromSoftware catalogue, Dragon's Dogma 1&2, and the new action combat Final Fantasy games (think FF16, FF15 and FF7 remake), but I quickly realized how complex game development really is behind the scenes. I will keep on learning and trying to refine my skills
My next big goals are to define my own art style by learning Shader Graph in Unity, making my own custom animations with Motion Capture software, and then working on tightening combat and gamefeel via root motion.
