That’s awesome. The graphics are great, there are sound effects, and it’s all in 1k. Stunning. The controls are difficult, but I think that’s intentional :)

Funny label image 🤣

Oh yeah, the graphics and the movement are awesome. It’s very difficult, but it makes a lot of fun. Gread job👍👍👍

Maybe this year in october or november 😊

Yeah an idle-game! Very nice implementation. I am not sure why this kind of games make fun, but even PicoClicker1k is a lof of fun 😊😊😊

Pro-Tip: hold left and right in the same time 🤓

Maybe my coil died 😂 I really like the atmosphere!

Very interesting. I didn’t know anything about this number system. Thank you very much 😊 Perhaps the best learning contribution to the PICO-1k Jam in BIDEKA

Thank you 😊 Do you reach the finale state of the ship?

@Rostok, you’re a magician… Every year, I’m excited to see what you’ll submit. And this year, you’ve done a great job again! It’s so impressive, I love it!

That idea is so easy and good at the same time. It’s incredible that you managed to fit it into 999 bytes! And yes… I really like the bounce effect too 😊. I’ll study your code to see if that’s possible.

This idea is great! I really like the imitation of depth and the minimalist look. I especially love the detail of the moving body😊 Great work!

dev highscore: 143

Can someone beat it?

Nice one, especially the iconic blue-screen 😂

Hi Paul,

I didn’t know the original Gorillas, but in my younger years I wanted to play “Ballerburg” with friends. It has the same mechanics. It was great fun throwing bananas 😂.

I would also like to thank you for your annual efforts in organizing this game jam. It has become a real tradition for me to take part and I am already looking forward to the new games and of course to building one myself 😊

It’s incredible that this game fits into the 1k limit. Fantastic, great work 😊.

This game is an interesting variation of Tetris. I only realized very late on that the key is also valid the other way round 🙈. In my run-through, green was often included in the key, but very rarely in the dropping. But it was also fun 😊

The samurai sprite is an eye-catcher and the controls are great. It was great fun to play 😊👍.

Yeah, like Andy said … it’s a pleasure for me every year to play your games in this game jam. Your submission is always workable, funny and amazing to me how it can work in 1k bytes. The “camera” sound is a great effect, but I didn’t get that:

 ?“⁶1⁶c1⁶!5f11”🐱░49:”

Can you explain that?

Looks interesting, but I really don’t get goal. I search and collect the 5 icons and than I can place it, but wherefore? Why I can move the elements? I miss a goal, maybe in the itch-page description.

Thank you 😊 Rendering the helicopter from ovals took most of the time.

No, no, it’s fine the way it is. I was just curious about the reason for this decision. And it’s totally understandable and brilliant to make it a feature. I think that’s what makes it edgy and memorable.

Yes, one of my favorite puzzle games in a perfect pico-8 style and in under 1k bytes. Amazing … Sadly I lost the game some steps after 512 block, but it was fun 😊

Wow … the animation of the kois are awesome. It’s so smooth. Moreover you find capacity for an intro and music + sound-effects. Great job.

This little dungeon crawler was fun. It’s so minimalistic, but it works great. I love the cube animation 😊 But I’m not sure why the movement is so limited. Is there a reason for this?

It must be dark magic … how can you put this game in this size? I really don’t understand it 😅 Reminds me of a game I used to play as a teenager. It’s amazing 👍

I get dizzy … but I can’t stop looking at it 😂 Even the code is understandable … great job.

It’s amazing … you squeezed that beautiful raycaster into pico and 1004 compressed bytes. I really like the dithering. Great work!

Very nice and clear interpretation of Simon. I really like the minimalistic style 👍

Thanks, Paul. Had the same problem in PICO-8 so many times. This was the time to “fix” this for me and others 😊. I went for the MIT license, so do whatever you want with this tween lib. Let me know if you use it, because on the github and itch page I want to collect usage in various projects 😊

You are welcome. Let me know if you use it, i would link the game on itch.io and github.com project page 😊

Still looking for the window and door stone 😂 Awesome graphics … no idea how it works 👍

You can toggle the music. Press enter or the small start button on the on-screen keyboard. 😊

Simple idea and nice retro style .. very cool game 😊

Hehe, that’s the better flappy bird 😊 The name awesome and game is funny. I got 156 on the first run 😊

Very nice shooter with great effects. Especially the title screen made me curious and I studied the code. Now, I known how to do it for the next pico-1k jam. Thank you very much 😊

i came across the game absolutely by accident. i liked the look and the gameplay right away. the different effects are great. it reminds me of the old crash-racers from the past . just great. thanks a lot :-)

Oh that’s funny 😊

I like the retro style very much. I am impressed that godot can look like pico-8 for example. Maybe I will give godot a try 😊

It’s frustrating and fun at the same time. I really like it 😊👍

In 560 bytes? It’s ridiculously awesome, even with a lot more bytes 😁 I really like the minimalist look!
