Very nice and clear interpretation of Simon. I really like the minimalistic style 👍

Thanks, Paul. Had the same problem in PICO-8 so many times. This was the time to “fix” this for me and others 😊. I went for the MIT license, so do whatever you want with this tween lib. Let me know if you use it, because on the github and itch page I want to collect usage in various projects 😊

You are welcome. Let me know if you use it, i would link the game on itch.io and github.com project page 😊

Still looking for the window and door stone 😂 Awesome graphics … no idea how it works 👍

You can toggle the music. Press enter or the small start button on the on-screen keyboard. 😊

Simple idea and nice retro style .. very cool game 😊

Hehe, that’s the better flappy bird 😊 The name awesome and game is funny. I got 156 on the first run 😊

Very nice shooter with great effects. Especially the title screen made me curious and I studied the code. Now, I known how to do it for the next pico-1k jam. Thank you very much 😊

i came across the game absolutely by accident. i liked the look and the gameplay right away. the different effects are great. it reminds me of the old crash-racers from the past . just great. thanks a lot :-)

Oh that’s funny 😊

I like the retro style very much. I am impressed that godot can look like pico-8 for example. Maybe I will give godot a try 😊

It’s frustrating and fun at the same time. I really like it 😊👍

In 560 bytes? It’s ridiculously awesome, even with a lot more bytes 😁 I really like the minimalist look!

Funny little jumper. My best score was 16. Unbelievable it’s possible with 1k. Great work 😊👍

Maybe Mozilla pick up dusk bunny for Firefox 😂

Thank you 😊 I tried my best for the bunny animation. Yes you are right for the collision, it’s not so easy.

Wow, nice score. At ~500m it became very fast and difficult. I am curious if someone can beat that 😊

Awesome game … I followed the devlog on twitter and was each time impressed. Thanks for this beautiful pico-8 game ☺

It’s a beautiful 1-button-game, makes fun and looks great. Inspires me to join the up coming 1-button jam :-)

When hit the x-button agian and again on the startup of program the following error raises:

It’s a impressive little app. I’m not sure how you get the current time. It’s magic for me 😊 Found a little bug. Don’t press x on start

This game is awesome. It is so minimalistic and complex. It was fun to play 😊 Was not my last run. Call me NASA expert from now on 🤣

The graphics matches perfectly to the famicase. Looks pretty good❤️

Nice retro feeling. The style of the night level is awesome. Great work 😊👍

Oh it’s so heartwarming and sweet. Nice idea, I really like it.

Thank you Paul 😊

The bug with non-reseting age is fixed, but not yet uploaded. I will do it in the next days. Thank you for the hint for run() that's new to me.

And also thank you for this great experience. It was my first game jam and I really love the idea of this jam. You make a great job 👍

Really nice tool, thank you Carl 🙏

Hi Andy,

thank you for the comment, that's very nice of you 😊

I got the idea for the trails late at night and it took me some tokens, but as it was complete I was sure that has to be part of the final piece ☺️

hi trapez,

thank you for playing and reviewing the game, that make me happy😊 The increasing age is bug and I think fixing this could maybe free some compressed bytes. The bounds are just for the camera and not for the player. it is to save bytes.

You are right in smaller sizes it is very hard to eyeball which cell is absorbable. I have an idea for that issue, but I am not sure if it's fits in the 1k.

Hi Paul,

the GEM is a great tool and i will used it for the pico1k jam this month. Its really nice.

Today, I found an issue. GEM breaks the code on using the short-hand-print ?"" syntax in if-else. The following code won't work in pico8

if 1==2 then
?"never" elseif 1==1then
?"working" end

The elseif has to be in the next line. Maybe you will fix that issue in the future 😊
