It's completely random. I managed to win about once every 10 attempts. But now there is a way to get luck stats to make these challenges easier. To do this, you need to complete all the main events of the current Act before the major events. But since you've already come quite far, to make the task easier, you can save before talking to Amy to start the game and, if you lose, load that save.

That was the step-by-step instruction. There are only two steps :) But you can see the hints on the piece of paper on the wall in the main character's room. It tells you about major events. You should have had a tutorial on this paper before. Most likely, you had a major event starting, but you clicked “delay” it, and therefore, the button to start it is now in the main character's computer

After completing the main event, you may see a notification indicating that a new golden scene has been unlocked. This scene can be found in the gallery and will replace one of the first 20 scenes. It will be highlighted with a golden outline for easy identification

All scenes are saved in the gallery. There are just more for the main characters, so I made filters for them. If you disable all filters, you will see the gallery with scenes for all characters

If you're doing it manually, you're probably forgetting about the "persistent" file. This is where general data that is not related to the main saves is stored.

Not necessarily, you can just update with the game already installed. However, it sometimes causes installation or launch errors. If this happens, uninstall the old version and install the new one. Saves are transferred automatically.

The game requires access to the files to save the progress to the Documents folder on your phone. By doing so, saves will automatically be transferred between versions.

Unfortunately, crashes without error do not provide enough information. The only options I have left are to try to download the game from another source, such as a public post on UniFans. Additionally, you can try deleting all saves in the folder Internal storage/Documents/RenPy_Saves using the file explorer on your phone. And try installing the previous version again to see if it still works. You can also do this using the free post on UniFans.
