If you have time, please consider filling out this short playtest questionnaire [Google Forms] so I can improve the game in future :)

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
I just released an extremely small patch for a potentially gamebreaking bug on this just now. This fixed a crash on some browsers (reported: Ecosia) where the game would freeze during dialogue and Space would stop responding. It was caused by a leftover cursor-lock call that itch.io's embedded player doesn't support. This has been removed with no gameplay changes.
The first build (submitted before the jam deadline) is still available to download on the game page, but your own sanity / ability to judge my game, I would highly recommend launching the latest browser-based build at the top of page, ('Run game').

That was fun, thanks Andre! I am very tired!

hi, where are the textures? they aren't in the folders...

Forgive me for wasting your time as a player! Releasing spores causes mushrooms to appear on the ground, then touching one of them will give you a jump and speed boost lasting 2 seconds so you can get to hard-to-reach areas. Then, that weird E thing does actually do something. You press E to turn into electricity and then hold A/D to move back and forward along a spline through the soil to the next platforming area. Doing so costs spores, the little blue things you collect in the overground areas.

However, I did absolutely nothing to signpost this, so I'm sorry. I had to cut my jam short by two days and didn't get a chance! Hoping to add some stuff in this week.

thank you! I hope I get a bit of time this week to make it more in line with my game design doc... I just had a super busy week and had to call it quits early!

Played this at WASD last week, loved the art style and vibe. Looking forward to more!

my highlight of the lame jam, really cool art style and delivering the spooky vibe. It was a little confusing about where to go in the early stages is my only feedback

really well polished and fun

Nice take on Doodle Jump, I like the pixel art style and traversal

fresh take on an old classic

This game has a really nice sense of challenge
