Guys, I finished the previous stage of the novella a week ago, but haven't had a chance to write about it. Unexpectedly, I got an offer to work on creating a series of images. I had to urgently dive into learning Ai. At night I handed in the test work and now I can get back to the novella while the customer makes a decision. 

This work will not make it into the Novella, although I like it very much.

What's next: it looks like I'll have to be away from the computer for 1-2 weeks, and I won't be able to render new images. I'll spend that time writing the script. That work should bring the novella to about the halfway point. 

Finished the text for 44 pages. I think it will be about 100 pages. But I've noticed that I usually do up to twice as much text as I plan. That said, I try not to write insignificant text that doesn't move the plot along.

Tomorrow I will start illustrating the new text.

Made 2 renders, 6000px, that won't fit in the novella. I want to hang on the wall, if there is enough space on the walls.
Started writing the text for the sequel yesterday.

Finished the location today - college hall. I decided that I will give this location a lot of renders (rehearsals of the play), so I paid more attention than planned. 

6 zonal light sources plus 7 local light sources. This room can be used as a basis for modeling a movie theater in another novel. 

Tomorrow I have a day to draw a picture, and the day after tomorrow I will start writing the second chapter for this location.

Taking a break for a few days to gather opinions on the slideshow. And I'll prepare a model of the theatre stage during that time. It will be needed for the next chapter.

Finished writing the first chapter today. It's 23 pages. I need to make 17 missing illustrations for this chapter. The picture in the screenshot doesn't match the text, it's just a nice picture for me from page 6. no text editing was done.

Fixed a lot of bugs in the interface for the small screen. Studied the code for slideshow. Now you can show several pictures in one text screen. For example for this screen there are three images: back, girl's legs and screaming doctor. 

Still working on the script, I don't seem to have any code issues anymore.  

There are 2 questions: 

1/ Is it bad form to use emoticons in text? Should we remove emoticons? What do you think?

2/ I sometimes have a lot of good renders that won't make it into the novella release. Should I give them to the readers as additional material or just delete such pictures? What are some practices for using such images?

Just finished the Renpy interface for small phone and tablet screens. Made a full screen text box to increase the font size. The picture to the text is opened by clicking on the “show image” button.
Now I have interface options: for computer and large tablet, for phone and small tablet.

The table of contents works almost the way I want it to. I'll make a request to the programmers if it's possible to do two actions on one action: select a chapter and hide the table of contents.
Next I have to start writing the text of the novella. I think I'm on the “main road”.  8^0

I have to refocus my head on creativity.

0/ Does anyone read novellas on a smartphone?

1/ introduced the ability for the player to change the name of the main characters. Changing the name and my table of contents could cause the game to crash. By some miracle I solved all the problems knowing only the basics of programming.
2/ Testing on a 10 inch tablet: had to increase the font size.
3/ On my phone, the text looks creepy. I'll start fixing it tomorrow.

Ready mentally to do another novella build for the phone screen.
Installed Google's Android emulator (for PC), but it wouldn't start. Emulator in Renpy works, but darkens part of the window. I'll try to solve this in the developers thread.

Episodic characters will not change their clothes. But I think the main characters should change at least the color of their clothes. What do you think?
The next step is to work out the interface in Renpy. I need to size the interfaces for the computer monitor and tablet. Does anyone read novellas on a phone? Knowing the screen sizes, I'll know how much text will fit next to a single illustration. Ideally, a new picture would appear on each new page of text.
Totally forgot about the names of the characters. It seems simple, but I'm having trouble with it. I found a random name generator, hopefully that will help.

Finalized all the actors. Replaced the full girl figure. For this first time I used Genesis-9 model. Had to deal with the shader of this version of Genesis. Overall I liked it better than Genesis 8. Still in doubt about skin customization for the main character (guy). 

The next step is to customize the clothes for the actors. And will be looking at the guy's skin. 

The older man in the novella will only be in dressed form. So with his old body I did not work. I'll work on his body in another novel when he has to undress. 

Hi guys. I'm making characters for an NSFW novella and I'm asking for your opinion on the age of the main character. The base model is Walter 2 (on the left). I increased the age and got the model on the right side. Do you think this guy is old enough to legally show us how he will learn the basics of sex?
