I noticed a few possible bugs in 1.03, but I think you've pointed them out in your bugfixes for 1.05. So I'm just going to ask a few questions about if what is listed there is the bug I found.

  • BugFix in 1.05: "Ensorced could apply permanent gear" - I'm on the 1.03, and I'm wondering if this "Ensorced" is referring to mimics? Because I just had a mage get uncursable "Staff of Unconditional Support" from a mimic. (It was also in a novice level rescue dungeon, if difficulty is meant to play a role in the type of cursed gear one could get).
  • "Some new uncurse goals weren't implemented correctly".  - I've got a "Beads of the Loyal Bunny (3/5)" that is displaying "Uncurse: Cannot be uncursed" and also "Remove Bead: Use move Remove Bead 0/1"; Using the move doesn't seem to be moving it along its transformation path. I'm just wondering if that's included in this list.

By the way, I also got that "Beads of the Loyal Bunny" along with "The Muffler" very early on in a novice dungeon by roll of the dice on the bar curio and getting the bunny set equipped; Just want to be sure the former of the two should be in that pool for the bunny gear.

I'll be honest, for a brief time, I had gone from thinking the Orc Magecarrier healing my party as opposed to the enemy was a bug, to thinking it was deliberate; As if the Mage being held by the Orc was trying to help my party as an act of defiance against the orcs. Maybe that could be another orc variation, if you should so desire.

I'm having fun with everything so far. Great work!

(1 edit)

Hello, I just wanted to let you know about two (or three?) bugs I found:

  • The biggest one I found seems to be related to any weapon that adds moves to a character, in which swapping the item while those added moves are selected will not "release" the moves from the character. As such a move slot remains hidden, unable to be deselected. I did a test with a sword of fireball (Equipped sword to warrior, selected move fireball, unequipped sword: fireball was no longer visible, but it still counted towards my move total). I found that the move still exists in combat, so this enabled me to have a warrior with the move fireball without the Sword of Fireball debuff of being set on fire. (I was able to see the same menu behavior with a Mace of Justice, though I didn't test that in combat.)
    • EDIT: Ah, I just checked and saw that this was in the Patch 1.04 BugFixes.
  • The other bug was just the Condom Bodysuit having the word "PARAM" instead of a number. Also, not sure if this is intended or not, but after the suit spawned some condoms, at the end of the mission, I thought I would have those added to my provisions inventory, but that was not the case. However, I'm not sure if this part is a bug or not.
  • This one I'm unsure of, but I think when I dismissed a girl who had on a necklace, the necklace wasn't returned to me. I'm not sure if this happened with a kidnapped girl and the gear she had as well.

I've also got two quick questions:

  • Are the blue (x#) meant to be the indicator for token affecting a multiplier? If so, those may be bugged to just say one; I'm not sure if they're just not updating on this display.
  • I've noticed that Block and Vulnerability tokens don't affect the Durability damage done, and I'm just wondering if that's intentional.

And I'd like to say thank you for making this. Lewd elements aside, this is just a fun game.  And this update, 1.03 is very enjoyable; I'm having fun looking for new weapons. I haven't tried this yet, but I noticed that one of the new Paladin spears gives a move with "self forward 1" for when in the Ranks 3 &4. (4-3-2-1). I was wondering what I would do with that, when I realized it could be useful if I used rogues or nobles who revolve around moving about; This new weapon should make it easier for a Paladin (typically a front line fighter) to be able to work better with them as the weapon helps get her back to the front.

Good day to you. And good work!

Thought you should know, I'm not a patron user, but I found out that there is a way for me to access the PetGirl class; I got one of the Pet set cursed items from a chest, which enabled me to change my character to the cursed pet class.

But this did also let me find out about an interesting visual bug while dungeon crawling; When given the giant ring, and she was placed in the back of the party, the pet girl's entire head would sometimes disappear. (No idea if this was already noticed or addressed in the patron 2.8.1, but thought it best to let you know.)

Another bug I've had occurred with the mimic chests; I had a girl with a gas mask on (I had two, one in the guild, one on her at the time), but it got eaten up by a cursed item; The girl's gasmask didn't end up in the dungeon inventory (which I would be alright with; potential strategic dilemma if one had a full inventory: "Do I leave now with all this loot and my precious gear, or do I sacrifice something? "), nor did it end up in the guild inventory; So, now I'm down to one gas mask.

So far, the above behavior seems to prioritize replacing the infinite boots and armbands, but this prioritizing bit may just be my imagination. Perhaps it's really just going left-to-right; I've been too scared to open any other cursed items with girls who have valuable, non-infinite gear.

By the way, I've noticed that some curios (I believe that's the shared title of the chests, mushroom room (...Did I just discover a meta pun?), bar, etc.) allow you to X-out the menu, while some do not and force you to make a decision. Just wondering if that's intentional, or if all should be forcing you into choices.

Last thing, but this isn't really a bug, but I would appreciate it if some of the tutorial/explanation menus could be updated to better reflect some of the new systems, such as that crest menu and personalities; I'm still a bit shaky on how that's working, but I may just need to review your posts on them.

But let's end this comment on a high note; I'm really enjoying the new weapons that alter some of the movesets; The idea alone is entertaining enough, but this enables a party with two of the same class to have each one come across as even more unique. Plus, they also look cool, which is always a plus.

Thanks for making this game.
