GAME PAGE : https://michael-elie.itch.io/turbo-tortue

Hey all!

We recently released our second-year game development project on itch.io and we'd love to get some feedback from both players and fellow developers.

The game was made by a team of three students: 1 artist and 2 developers (including myself 😊)).

Our goal was to create an asymmetrical local multiplayer party game inspired by the kind of experiences you'd find on the Nintendo Switch. The main challenge we set ourselves was designing a hide-and-seek game that could work in local multiplayer on a single shared screen.

The Pitch

In Turbo Tortue, one player controls a robotic turtle whose goal is to hunt down and eliminate mutant flowers before its battery runs out.The other players control the flowers and must survive long enough to drain the turtle's battery.

The idea was to mix hide-and-seek, chase mechanics, and resource management into a competitive party game that's easy to pick up with friends.

We'd love to hear your thoughts on the gameplay, visuals, readability, game feel, or anything else that stands out. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to check it out and leave some feedback!
