Great entry, perfect game length for a jam!

I did not finish it! But the art and audio were great!

On the 1st attempt the 1st red guy died in a way that blocked me from moving anymore. And then I found out the restart level button did not work! haha. 2nd attempt was fine though!

A combat tutorial would have been nice! I landed on little swirls to get the combat done haha.
*edit* Reading your game page would have been a great starting place for me instead of jumping right in lol

Can't fault a game that is using instant step!

Perfect length for a game jam entry imo. And bump combat is always good!

Being able to hold my wasd kinda like a fps was cool. Also not directly related but I like the itch setup you had going here.

As a Tron fan I enjoyed this!

I too enjoyed the different deaths lol.

I like the swipe to move system you got going here, guessing that was there for mobile players - but here I am using it with a mouse haha.

I kind of like combat that is fast like this (I am a fan of "bump" combat myself). As others have said the lights were weird in some places, but it's a jam game so can't really complain about that!

There are a lot of systems here! Also, might have been me playing the web build but the mouse click position in the menu was off somehow and I was changing the settings that I did not intend to change (like the language haha), not a deal breaker but maybe a post jam fix?
Noticed that you had input queuing also so that was a nice way to make up for not using instant step!

Card images would have added a bit (jam game I know), once I worked out just how the combat was working it became fun for me. Trying to one hit KO an enemy!

Now that is a rapid firing shotgun! haha, kinda wish it worked at range - but it makes sense it does not due to the dungeon crawlerness of it.

3D print your entry next year, lol
That little arm is comedy also! Great entry!

Outdoors and verticality make this kinda unique for me! (ladder transition though! haha).
I should have read the description 1st as I somehow made a b-line right to pulling the block onto myself lol.

The perspective felt a bit od to me, but the drawn art made up for it!

Very nice! I would say dragon perks is stretching the theme a bit :p haha, well done!

Reminds me of the snes game "The Fireman". I sometimes thought about who would be cleaning up after someone like superman haha, now I know!

Multi layer is a cool thing especially with the boulders for the traversal. The mini map was great also!

Looks great! I do wish there was a bit of variety in your movement sound (just because I love to spam move real fast haha)

Random nostalgia hit for me. Kinda reminds me of ADOM. Will be surprised if this is not in the top 5 this year.

The F key also did the interact action. I had planned on making the 1st level's side room button stuff more of a tutorial on the controls for the game but it was cut short :( Thanks for playing!

What does the dice do?  My 2nd attempt was much better after I read the game page on itch to get the controls. Not sure if it was my computer or not but I think the perspective needs to be pulled back a bit. Instant step movement is also the best way to go imo!

"Old Woman is KO" also cracked me up.

I too had a bug due to movement while loading in my 2024 jam , I was using raycasts for movement back then, not sure what you used but I enjoy the fact the I am not the only one that had something like that happen haha!

The spiny map messed with my head a bit. I did like being able to explore the dungeon safely from the outside of it. Reminds me of some dungeon core books

Clean visuals. And quick combat. I tried to harness my inner Aang haha.

That flag being a bomb and not a goal of some sorts is evil lol!

The brick wall blocker guys were a good idea.

"Already seen this view" (I died a lot and got this this voice line many times haha)

This is great, but also wrong, clicking is not boring!

Short and sweet! Enjoyed the combat also. pew pew.

I like the tiles updating in the game world for visited/not visited!

Instant step! Can't go wrong with that.
Very diverse cast of enemies that is for sure. Going from an Old woman to a bunch of Piranha made me laugh.

Like others have said I think the music was fun and wacky!
Web build would have been nice! (not just you but there are a few that do not work in the web or in the itch app)

The qe and ad swap took some getting used too. The combat worked well also (the fpsish dungeon crawler mix. Just wish I could play it in the browser or via the itch app.

That was done on purpose (to prevent the player from getting hard locked if they lured the enemy back to the spawn). The bosses do reset though.
Thanks for playing!

You are Dead! (because you blew yourself up!).
Controls are great, I feel like everyone should have instant/near instant step(like yours) - it just feels better imo.

Short, but all the stuff needed is there!

I made it! enjoyed the boss mini game more then finding the anomalies haha (but that's just me not being a huge fan of anomaly hunting... watching others do it is somewhat more fun for me?)

Great work.

Nice quick combat! I am a fan of that
