This project is amazing and while I appreciate the attention to detail in making the game as close to old-style PS1 systems as possible, the inability to rebind the controls does cause some accessibility issues for many players. I'm left-handed when using a computer and don't have access to any USB controllers, so I have to play with mouse and keyboard. Given that I'm usually using my right hand for WASD controls and my left for camera controls, I end up with my arms crossed over - not to mention the on-screen prompts not updating to factor in PC control setups.

Is this something that could change in the future? Would love to be able to play this as it's a super cool project and I can see a lot of hard work was put into it, but I was barely able to make it through the tutorial with the current control setup.

Hey all! I've been a user of this site for a long time but never really interacted with the forums before, but I figured it was worth dipping in here to see if anybody can help me out:

My bf and I are looking around for BL themed games (prefferably lighthearted/wholesome/fluffy ones), but the overwhelming majority of them seem to be purely visual novels, where the most "gameplay" you get is occasionally picking a different choice and reading pages after pages of text.

While a lot of these look nice, we're not really fond of VNs as the actual gameplay itself gets boring very fast. Instead, we're looking for "kinetic novels", or more traditional "dating sims" where there are other things you can do in the game as well as talk to NPCs. Doesn't even neccessarily have to include other minigames or anything, just anything with a bit more substance than a few dozen choice decisions.

Probably the best example I know of in terms of what we're looking for is Dream Daddy - we played that game together and loved it! It had the perfect mix of interacting with the world and characters to accomplish different things during the routes. However, I haven't found any other games that really capture the same kind of energy yet.

Again, we're primarily looking for wholesome, fluffy and/or lighthearted games, with enough humor sprinkled in to be enjoyable but prefferably nothing that is purely humor or satirical and definitely nothing angsty/violent. We're looking for stuff to chill out and feel good playing, and maybe have a couple laughs along the way, but not something that tries to be funny with every second sentance. We're also not looking for anything furry or anthro themed, thank you!

Also on the look-out for any non-dating sim/kentic novel games with wholesome BL in them, although they seem much rarer and I feel like I've scoured the whole site looking for something like that already. But if I missed anything I'm definitely down for keeping an open mind.

If anybody has any suggestions please let me know!

Hey, so, I'm kind of stuck. I'm up to the part where you have to follow Mugwort's movements in the darkness. He makes one movement, but when I try to follow his directional movement, nothing happens. I can't seem to get anything to happen no matter which direction I try to go in. Can't seem to get any further than the first movement even when I have my headphone volume up to maximum.

Is there something I'm missing here? I watched a lets play of the same section and nobody else seems to be having the issue.
