Wooooooo, I am super happy to see that you finished it, what a champ! :_)

Im really happy about it,  I had a ton of fun doing it, and I am proud of push it till the end!! Thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it :))

You totally right, i thought about it, but at that moment my code was full spagetti mode :S

I thought I would be able to reupload the webversion on time, but no, It did not worked out, it took me a ton of time, and I reuploaded here so maybe i can still take advantage of the gamejam to get a bit of feedback

I had your comment on my mind for the last 4 hours battling with .bat files makefiles, fucking emsdk and whatnot, so I appreciate the time you took to write it, thanks! You can play it here, I finally made it, not on time for the jam, but still, I would greatly appreciate the feedback :)  https://memetococ3.itch.io/reupload-red-swarm

I could not get a working web version on time, but you can play it here if you are curious, I would greatly appreciate the feedback :)

Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback!! I agree that it feels a cumbersome to edit the inputs, and what do you mean with the setup?

A lot of the game was just "is okay enough" so yeah I found myself with things like what you said later in development that I did not how to address at the moment, next time I will try to imagine more the result that I am trying to get instead of focusing on the next problem to resolve. And yes, I believe I forgot to set to 0 some var that deals with the amount of distance the tentacle retracts, a charged attack should retract it fully, but its a bit wonky :$. Thanks for the comment, I truly appreciate it :)

Thanks :))

I had the idea of keep the player stop at early stages of development, maybe I should have taken it out, I did not think about it! Thanks for the comment :)

This game looks amazing, from top to bottom, I specially love that when you fail you give the player the hint of which colors they need to combine. Also the graphics, the sounds, everything is super nice, specially the credit song, really cool!

Because there is no danger till the third tentacle appears I thought it was okayish the time at the begining before shit hits the fan, but I think people just gets frustrated by it. I will learn for the next one, thanks for the comment :))

The game looks awesome, both the ilustrations and the map are look really nice, but I do not understand how the merging system works :(

Nice game and cool aesthetics, the effect when you win is pretty cool also!

Thanks for the comment, what part of the controls do you think made it more difficult?

Shit you are absolutely right, I did not thought about that, I feel like a dummy!! Thanks for the comment! :)

Really cool, the power ups are a nice twist on the classic, and the small friend that brings the hexagons is super cute, really polished and enjoyable game :))

I found really cute a lot of the buildings, the rocket, the big spider, and the big little guy are super cute, glad that you shared it, looks promising! I also think that the possible future game could benefit of having less parts of the world on sight, like the ones that are "upside down" related to the camera.

I think some sliders would have been nice!

I enjoyed the game a lot, I got excited when fighting big hexagons, and got depressed after being frozen and see my avatar get killed without being able to react. >:(

That was batshit insane, super unexpected and cool experience :)

My lady played it and she enjoyed it!! 5/5

I really like to se the wizard on top of the cauldron and the game is fun, would be nice to have some cool sounds, also im super bad at the game :(

I enjoyed it, but I wish the game had some sounds to trigger that part of my monkey brain. would be really nice to ear some sounds as the chains get done.

I think the idea of getting the enemies together and making them stronger was really cool, but I wish the enemies tried to get together, instead of just following me. I had fun though, and the soundtrack is an absolute banger!

I love the aesthetic, looks and feels super good, but the loop could benefit of more variety maybe another kind of enemy, or something happening in the scenario, because it is really easy to just drive around the enemies and just dont get hit. Also I believe i took the upgrade for have homing attacks, but later in the game it just stoped working, I dont know why.  Still, super cool and impresive!

I think the game feels a bit empty, the character could be faster in mi opinion, and the encounters feels too similar, but I enjoy the idea of combining hexes to build more combinations of spells, maybe taking out the sword would be also nice to focus on spells combinations.
