Looking for all positions, mainly artist, writer, and programmer, for work on a VN with small elements of card games. I made decent progress on this project (I do writing and programming myself) but stalled out a couple years ago, now I'd like more people to help me fix up what is there and push it past the finish line.
The elevator pitch: "Poker Night at the Inventory" meets "VA-11 Hall-A". The player enters an underground poker tournament with high stakes and supernatural elements. Character focused rather than story focused, the game is about emulating the unique feelings of meeting a stranger that you're probably not going to see again. It's about unravelling the mystery of a person when you don't even know their name. It's also about the random, unimportant things people talk about around a poker table.
If you're interested, please leave a comment, preferably with a portfolio or at least a base of experience. Moreso because I have a specific vision in place for what I want this game to be and I just want to make sure you're able to match that. Otherwise, this project is very beginner friendly.
