Love this! It looks super cute and nostalgic. and nicely made.

The game is a kinetic novel called [ Here's the Tea].

Here's the Tea

It tells the story of a young woman named Rosie who gifts tea to her neighbor, as well as a letter to her neighbor, and ends up showing them how tea can help soothe their aches.

You can download and read more about the project here: https://stubbornbudgie.itch.io/heresthetea

No problem, thanks for not minding that I tried out your game! ^^ Your project was really nice and I wish you luck with any future ones you might do in the future! Hope the feedback helps ya going forward.

I noticed you used ren'py to create the game. Just note, usually its a good idea to link to the ren'py site as the program used to code the VN. (ie: renpy.org) and credit ren'py's creator renpytom in general for creating ren'py. (He has a twitter under that handle if it helps). - Just something to keep in mind.

I like the initial forest backdrop and the sounds of the audio adding to the effects of reading the text so far. Although, the blankness of the main menu threw me off a little, it was alright. I like the edit of effects on the cabin and all as well. It was short, but the words, seemed to hint at more. I got ending 3, in the end. I really liked the sprite of Amber, it was cute. Definitely nice for a quick game jam entry and nice job on coding the choices and audio, as well as the images in. I would have preferred backdrops to match the sprite, and maybe a few CGs for events, such as when the plate broken, but overall the feel was nicely paced and nicely done within the time limits.

Ahaha the demo just got me even more excited for the release. I liked that some options were timed and some were not, - the art is just absolutely amazing and draws you in, and i liked the easter egg of the poster of the winged ones cast in her room. I did notice the island is the same one, but it's fun seeing the differences and little things like that thrown in is awesome as well. I like the story and the dynamics between the characters. that can be seen <3 as well.

I love that this project is still going and updated - and I'm looking forward to being able to buy the finished game in the future. The art is gorgeous and I love that it's set in the same world as your other game, which I loved as well. I'm about to play the available demo, and I'll leave thoughts on it later on!

Here's the short review I left on the rating: The game itself is gorgeous! but also really fun, and a little tricky, since you have to be careful to not get a bad ending. but the characters are nicely tied together and planned out, making it fun for each route!

also I gave it 5 stars. <3

Note: I was planning on writing up a longer review to share via tumblr, but I wanted to ask if that would be okay, first?

Yeah, it was on the itch ratings!

I love this game! had fun playing through all the routes, and I left you a review!
