I have not; I should!

Got it from the first hint! Oh I love that. Naq vg’f rnfvre guna gur svefg raqvat gb trg gb un un

I LOVED your puzzle last year, and once again this is fun! It’s so silly how you always do puzzles about slicing this one image. What I really liked in this puzzle was (rot13) gur frperg raqvat 😄. You also just have a good sense of discovery to your puzzles.

Got the first ending! I’d love a hint for the second :D

I like how optimal you have to be in the puzzle and really learn how the energy meter works.

YES, this was the key! Puzzle solved!

OMG DISCOVERY: (Rot13) Lbh pna zbir gur gncvbpn nybat gur obggbz. V unira’g svtherq bhg ubj gb znxr guvf hfrshy lrg ohg V guvax vg’f gur xrl gb gur chmmyr.

I don’t really get this one because I can’t do certain pathways on the snowflake, and you can’t go backwards, but I really like the theme!

I did it with the smaller hint!! :DD And the third one!

True, but then I need to separate 1 ice from the others while keeping the two stacked, and I can’t seem to get that.

Oh just go to https://rot13.com/ and paste each tip in.

I feel really dumb, but I can’t figure out what the sideways value is worth on the second puzzle when it’s near the bottom. I love this tho!!

I love the theming! I imagine you had the theme, and then tried to find a puzzle that fit it? Oh yeah I see you wrote “Inspired by real-life events.”

I know I need to make a narrow stack, but I just can’t seem to get it. It’s so hard to separate the ice. Fun though!

I DID IT!! I love how satisfying the solution is to look at.

So so fun. I’m really glad you gave the first five as it made this so much more fun to approach. Great design!

I LOVED Bring Your Pet to School Day. The animal theme made me really happy. This is a great follow-up!! (Even if it’s not about animals, he he.) You did a great job with the limited color palette. I always love that these puzzles combine logic with context on how conversations work. It’s such a neat idea I don’t see done often.

Apparently there’s a Chapter 2 I’ve never played? Heck yes!

I couldn’t figure out the puzzle in the bottom right, but this is a fun mechanic!

I beat it without the corner cells!! Love this. Only things I recommend are:

  • An Undo
  • Make the tutorial pop up at the start. I spent so long being confused why I couldn’t put cards on other colors. Of course you can, but it didn’t work because I was trying to place the card across the bridge. So I was learning the wrong lesson until I saw the question mark option, where I learned how to play.

The spaces you can move to sparkle though?

Oh wow! I’m excited for it, as Bring Your Pet to School Day was one of my favorites!

Not too much backtracking, but still a little bit when you get an idea to change the walls. I like that a lot!

LOVE IT. Such a fun use of perspective.

Here's my solution!
  • SPACE
  • EPICS
  • PIXES (I don’t think that’s a word, but it worked)
  • ASPEN
  • FOUND
  • SPICE

I like also that the bonus question has only one answer even though the middle 3 words can be different for everyone. Clever!! I wonder if you started with SPICE for the holiday theme and then saw Dune naturally arise? Neat!

This one kind of overwhelmed me from options, but it’s very technically impressive

Super satisfying to solve. There weren’t too many options, which I liked actually, as there were still Ah Ha moments. Really really fun!!

Incredible! Love deducing when the transformations need to happen based on what makes getting to the end impossible. Great job!

Oh my gosh I feel so silly. I saw the color pallete this year had only four colors, and I assumed there couldn’t have been a color pallete last year because of the game Technicolor and Bring Your Pet to School Day. But now that I think about it, while those games had a larger color pallete, it was still a limited set of colors. I just didn’t notice! Oops. Thanks for explaining!

This is a comment to Confounding Calendar: Why are you requiring a specific color pallette this year? While it gives the games aunified look, it also controls potential themes. I’m really dissapointed in this change.

Is there a way to get Party Pooper while also becoming a girl? I could get a little pink without being less mature, but I’m not sure if you can get enough pink.

Ha ha I of course got D first, he he.

Please do, and reply here if you remember!

I think one problem with this idea is how long you have to wait for platforms; the idea inherently involves waiting. I really like the music though, and I enjoyed what I played!

Absolutely wonderful idea. The music switch is soooooo good, and I love the text at the bottom giving such a flavor to the game. Only thing is I wish survival was somehow easier lol.

Aaaaa I played the game for an hour and I still don’t know who did it because I picked wrong…loved it so much, but maybe if you get it wrong, the game should still say what really happened? Because I don’t want to go through the whole process again. Could you also let me know what happened, as I’m super curious!

The very first jump is a bit too far; I missed it many times despite using clones correctly. The vertical position of the clones kept glitching. But I absolutely love that one puzzle where you jump on your clone!!

As another commenter said, I LOVE the flash light and how so much color is drained when not looking at an object. However, I think a little more of the texture should still be visible when not looking, as otherwise everything becomes too grey.

I also couldn’t pick up keys or open doors without looking at the exact angle the game wanted and then rapidly pressing e until the key was registered.

I like the repeating hallway idea! The atmosphere was well done.

Love the idea!! If the bouncing worked a bit better at all areas of the paddle (you can sort of hold the ball infinitely as another commenter mentioned), and if the speed increased over time, it would be perfect. Well done!

Cats like hats!

Really nice! It would be cool if the words on the inside match as well.

I love that the simple combination of mechanics creates a nice puzzle, and I love the theme!!

Gosh visualizing it as a gjb-qvzrafvbany tevq was actually helpful. Love the algebraic nature to this one!

Love this so much!! The trick is clever and allows all the swaps to be possible.
