I'll have to check this one out later when I get home from work but I won't forget you. Based on the comments and screenshots though, it looks really fun.

This was fun! It could use some kind of filler mechanic while waiting for the next key combo. Maybe you need to collect dark energy to power your next spell or maybe some kind of ritual speed multiplier. This would give the player a reason to risk exploring rather than just confine themself to a small area and dodging.
I'm also an oldschool DDR player so I enjoyed the arrow key mechanic.
I tried commenting on the game/voting pages directly but every time I would submit the page would just refresh and my comments weren't there.
I was able to rate it though. Great work!
***Edit: due to a family emergency, I will not be able to rate/review any more games for this jam as of 4:30 PM PST 1/7/26. Any posts that were here before that time have been rated. Good luck to you all and please make sure to rate and review eachothers games as well.***
With over 100 entries so far, there is NO WAY i can rate them all. Respond here with why I should play and rate yours and I'll give it a try and I'll be as honest (and constructive) as possible.
I could not get it to load for the life of me across 3 different computers. I finally got it to run on a remote machine but I couldn't control due to the mouse trnaslation. With that being said, I gave you a rating based on the comments below and my personal opinion of your use of the theme, and the screenshots. None of this was your fault, my browsers were beign stupid. (Don't worry, it's a good rating!)
Would love to hear your input. This is my second ever "completed" project. All assets created by me.

Honestly I had a lot of fun. The animations are pretty good for basic stick figures. 2 suggestions: 1) Move the attack button somewhere other than the mouse click. At least for me, using mouse for attack when everything else is controlled by keyboard feels a little clunky. 2) Your power up screen (unlocking the dash) is cleared by clicking anywhere, regardless of where the mouse cursor is at the time of the click. I accidentally clicked away this screen so I didn't know about the dash until I restarted the game.
Over all, considering the time crunch, I'd give it a 7.5/10. Good job!
I enjoyed this once I understood it. The thing that threw me off the most was that I didn't realize I had to wait 30 seconds before the first anomaly. I kept clicking things and kept resetting the timer because of my lost lives. One recommendation as a player: Reduce the initial surveying phase to maybe 10 seconds, disable clicking during the initial surveying phase, and maybe add some kind of on screen notification. Something like: "Study your surroundings. Round 1 begins in 10...9...8.."
Great concept and good art.
8/10
Looks good. You should keep it up. The one thing I have to say is make sure you test your games like you don't know what you are doing. It's easy to win when you know what you're doing. When you lose, the replay button takes you to the home screen but starting the game again instantly takes you back to the you lose screen. This is easy to miss (I almost did the same with mine).
Overall, it's a solid quick game. My only other critique is it would be nice to have a gameplay timer. It turns the "What am I doing?" to "What am I doing?" but with anxiety, which is always fun.
7/10 Keep it up!
Hello, I wrote a comment here the other day because I accidentally paid $0.01 less than the minimum required for the full pack.
I'm posting here again since I don't see my previous comment here. I apologize if this is a double post. I'm not trying to be impatient, I just want to make sure that you see my comment.
I'm working with what is in the free pack for now but would love to get the rest. I'm happy to pay another $1 if need.
I also emailed you a couple days ago.
Thank you =)
