You should use the purple dye (the description should mention it's usable) and then get a cutscene in town to go the sanctuary. If you're in the sanctuary, it should automatically play.
As for the scissor mini-game, I did follow a tutorial and I can't figure out for the life of me how to adjust the hit box (despite using the same size images from the tutorial). o.o
I added a link to the fixed version of my game within the page description itself and kept the original download the same. It's a good way to deal with updating for now!
Are the portraits in the screenshot included? I see you mention "six avatars", but looking through the files I don't see any "avatars", unless you just mean sprites..?
Downloaded this yesterday, but played with 2 of my pals today - it was a lot of fun!
Oddly, I kept getting ideas to give this game more features - even if "simple". Such as table layouts with obstacles, scoring, stock or "lives" that allow the player to "respawn" before the end of the "round", etc.
