I can see this being developed into a well-made, high octane shooter someday! Though limited to being a local/same screen multiplayer, I see potential in this being faster pace and the same kind of hectic as Hotline Miami, which does have cooperative multiplayer, but it would be interesting to see as a competitive PvP. The shooting being limited to the directional keys and diagonal does make certain shots difficult to hit but I will chalk that up to hardware limitations. You have a great thing going here, well done!

An interesting concept, not original but well made. The feel of the game and the character we play as made me think this was going to be a sort of stealth game and I think it would have performed well as one. As it stands, our character seems to be less of a priest, and more of a vampire slayer, kind of Castlevania-esque. The art and design is really well-made however and controls seem smooth. I just wish there was more of a challenge and depth to the story as well. Perhaps lean more into the more fantastic, action-oriented theme and this could go a long way. Other than that, well done!

Having the main movement be propelled via the recoil from your main fire is an underrated form of travel. It reminds me a bit of a game called Superhot, but deconstructed to it's purest form. It would be fun if the time between shots were much shorter so that it would allow us to zoom across the stage faster. The idea to make the primary fire a shotgun spread was a good call but it might have also made it a bit too easy. Well done otherwise!

I did NOT expect to be so invested in a game like this. I'm quite the sucker for survival type games so this was going to be up my alley from the start. But there was more mechanics and strategy required than I had anticipated at first, so I was caught way off-guard. Other than having some sort of power-up to help keep up with the growing horde of enemies. I could have been bad, but it feels like the amount of enemies will eventually outpace the amount of damage you can dish out. Other than that, very well done! I'll keep this in mind and might play it some more.

Pretty good platformer and I'm in love with the theme and aesthetics. I could be wrong but I see a hint of Dark Souls in the main character's design, so big kudos for that. I might be a little dumb but there was a part where there was no clear way of progressing since I was stuck under a platform with no way of going through it or reaching any of the ledges in the far right of the screen. Other than that, the movement and swinging of the sword seems smooth and satisfying, well done!
