I added a game speed setting so you can slow down your opponents' turns and see what's happening.

Thank you! I just uploaded an update that adds a sound when you draw or play a card. I figured players wouldn't really care what happens between turns, since the relevant information is only what's in hand and on top of the pile. I might add a speed slider in the settings that would slow down the opponents' turns.

Could be cool for a future jam but it's too late to change now. Like by all means go for it if you want.

It's kind of annoying that suggestions are changing during the jam. I know this is the first jam and the changes are not huge, but still.

I have googled it but I can't find one.

Thank you! There are 18, I should have shown a percentage or something.

Thanks for your feedback! I tried to make death the least frustrating I could, since I died a lot and figured other players would too.

Thanks! I spent a lot of time on it.

I'll bite. I can't wait to hear what you think of it!

EDIT: Thanks for playing it and for the generous rating! I agree that the difficulty curve is not great, that's my fault for not getting anyone else to playtest it. The player only grows when you finish a level, which isn't really apparent. But at least the checkpoints grow!

Thanks! I wanted dying to not be frustrating, and part of that was making a good death animation. Throughout development I kept going back and trying to improve it.

Is it two hours? It looks like the jam is still open to me despite submissions closing 16 hours ago. I also would have fixed some things that people brought to my attention since then.

Thanks! I wanted to make it challenging but not frustrating, and I hope I succeeded in that.

Thank you! I found it harder as I got older but I think you're right, the camera is too tight at first.

Thanks! The music is by Abstraction, I've linked to more of their stuff in the credits page and the description.

Thank you! I wanted to do new sprites for the grown up tree but I ran out of time.

Thanks again! It's easier to jump over the beams if you move in the opposite direction that they're moving.
Hmm, the only time it start to play sound is when the level loads. I'm assuming it starts when you press R and not when you die?

Thanks for the feedback, I've slowed it down so it shouldn't be so frustrating.

Thanks! I've slowed it down so it should be much less crazy.

Thanks! I've taken your feedback and slowed it down. I wanted to nail the death animation so dying wouldn't be as frustrating.

Is favicon.png not what you're looking for?

GoGodotJam community · Created a new topic Audio Latency

When I export my game to HTML5 there's significant audio lag. I don't get any latency when I play in the editor. I've looked around and apparently this is just an issue with Godot. Is anyone else experiencing this?
