I just finished playing this game's eight levels, and I loved each and every one of them. When I entered the first level, the fundamental mechanics were a little confusing at first, but since I was able to quickly restart the level, I was able to get a good understanding of them before I entered the next level. The artstyle is so eye catching, especially with the designs of the machines, and I love how the music is loud and bombastic. It really fits with the factory idea, and helped me stay motivated when I was stuck. To top it all of, this game 100% nails puzzle difficulty and difficulty progression, especially with the final level. I won't spoil what it is, but I did have to take a few minutes to just look at my screen, assess what I was given, and figure out what to do with them. However, I wasn't annoyed by this. In fact, I was anything but annoyed. This final level didn't feel substantially harder than the last levels, and gave me enough freedom to really put what I learned from the past puzzles to the test, which I really appreciate! I felt so smart mapping out my solution and figuring out how to deal with any of the roadblocks, and when I finally beat the level, I was so proud of and satisfied with my performance. Overall, this is an excellent game that reels you in with its superb art and sound design, and keeps you engaged with its well-crafted puzzles, which will make you feel proud of your problem-solving skills, even if you didn't discover the solutions on your first try!

If there's three things I love about this game, it's that the sound effects and graphics are beautifully unsettling, the movement system is hard to master, but not so hard that it's frustratingly punishing, and the mechanics work together to make really tense moments. When I first booted up the game, I had troubles with how my mouse was interacting with it, since I have two monitors and my cursor was stuck on one of them, but while I was trying to fix it, I legitimately felt anxious just listening to the man cough vigorously, and watching the pool of blood under him grow larger as the parasite borrowed towards his brain. When I finally got everything working, I wasn't the best at running from the monsters and quickly managing my syringes and bullets, so I had to retry some of the levels a few times. But even though I knew what was coming, my heart never stopped racing whenever I had to run away or frantically load my gun while monsters were tailing me. Overall, this is an amazing game jam game, and a perfect example of how to do survival horror right.

This game was super fun to play! The controls are fluid, the art is great, and the atmosphere is awesome! My only complaint is that I could not find where the crypt key is supposed to go no matter how hard I looked, but I guess it's supposed to be hidden

Thank you for your reply. It's good to know that you liked it. I do agree that the bouncing mechanics are finicky, and the game would be better with some powerups or healing items, so if my team and I revisit this game later down the line, we'll be sure to add those features.
