Love the concept! Definitely matches the flash game inspiration. One minor thing is that it would be great if you start each run already holding on to the first hold, would just make it a little smoother to play.

Great concept and artwork! The gameplay is a little on the simple side but that's totally fine. Great submission

Cute idea! The gameplay loop is similar to clicker games so I could see this being very satisfying with some further work. Nice job!

Good concept and the levels are very well designed. Some of the solutions felt a little hard to execute relative to the rest of the game, but that's not much of an issue. Nice work!

Wonderfully creative! I haven't seen anything like this in the jam but it works so well.

Very satisfying. A true one button game in the sense that you press the button exactly one time and get endless entertainment

Glad you enjoyed it! The cookie on the glass in level 2 is unfortunately impossible in the jam build. We've fixed it for the post-jam update though

Love the concept, but it was incredibly hard to actually get a run going since the starts were often single tiles without any info. Would love to see more of this with a gentler difficulty curve

I love the slot car idea, fits the theme perfectly! Well executed overall and very enjoyable despite the simplicity. Great work

Great concept! The puzzles are well designed and have a good difficulty progression. It's a little hard to keep the paths of each ghost in your head so it might be nice to show a line that they'll follow or something, but that's just QOL. Very nice

Great sense of humor. Could use a volume slider (ow my ears)

Pretty fun once you figure out the movement. The big flashing "BOOST" text on the right made me feel like it should've been more of a boost than it was, and the base movement speed is almost frustratingly slow, but once you get up to speed the platforming feels very nice. Well done!

Adorable and unique take on the theme! The art is gorgeous, I really enjoyed my time playing

Great atmosphere! Had me feeling a little tense the whole time

What a great concept!! The learn-by-doing tutorials were designed well and I feel like I got the hang of it pretty quickly. The music adds so much juice too; if this were a full game I could easily see each input on the track playing a chord or something as it gets executed.

Took a while to figure out what to do but it's great fun after that point. I love the visuals, fantastic shader work

I played a lot of arena survival games like this as a kid so this feels right at home for me :D

The movement feels great and the different enemy types are well done (but screw the mummies, they're laser accurate with their throws haha). I wish you could rocket jump but maybe that's just me being nostalgic. My best score is 209 with the rocket launcher.

Super creative game. I got a bit stuck near the end but I really enjoyed the process up to that point. Great work

I loved this! Interesting and unique interpretation of the theme, great art, writing, and music, and well-executed gameplay

Fantastic writing, had me laughing constantly. The microgames are great too. Great work!

Fun! I like the idea of a linear city builder. As others have said a speed up button would be nice, though I think the game could also use some kind of constraint on where you place things, or a bonus for putting certain buildings next to others or something. Great concept :)

Well executed concept. The leaderboard is a great touch, really well done.

Good concept! I got stuck on my best run since there were too many pre-placed algae tanks and I couldn't reduce the oxygen, but it's good a good gameplay loop. Nice work

Fun and well executed. Good job!

this was an experience I won't forget

Incredibly creative and very well executed. My only complaint is that the controls are pretty hard to understand, but I'd happily play a full-length version of this. Definitely one of the best in the jam, very very nice work!

If you keep working on this concept I'd love to have an undo button!

Pretty fun and very well executed. Seeds with obstacles in the way of the rings are my favorite.

Ohh so that's what it was. We couldn't figure it out before the deadline but I'll try to fix it after the review period. Thanks for playing!

Nice work! I enjoyed it. I like how much stuff there is to find on the pc, very good attention to detail

Fun! Reminds me a little bit of House Party in UFO 50. Each person has a lot of effects and conditions so it can be hard to understand what's going on sometimes, so it would be nice to show them one by one as the gossip goes around or something. Great concept though, nice job!

Really fun! The controls are a little sensitive but overall very well executed. The loop mechanic is pretty unique too

Fantastic work! I've tinkered with gamifying Game of Life in the past but never got it to work anywhere near this well, so I'm very impressed. Managed to beat every level without any hints but it took me a while. If you ever expand upon this (and I'd love to see it if you do), it would be great to have a play bar or something to scroll through the iterations to more easily see what happens on each step. Great stuff all around.

Cute idea! I wish you could hold the movement buttons so it feels a bit more fluid, but with some more scenarios  it would work well either way.

Thank you! You can jump higher by slide-jumping or jumping after diving onto the ground. I've updated the description since it seems like we didn't tutorialise that too well. Thanks for playing!!

The mechanics here feel super polished! This was a joy to play, really great execution of this concept :D

Fun idea! The bot is a bit too easy but the concept could work super well as a PvP type thing

Surprisingly addictive! It took me a while to figure out how to play but after I did I was having a great time.

Simple and fun! I wish it had a little more variety (maybe boss enemies every once in a while or something) but the core is there and it's very enjoyable for what it is.

The art is super cute! It was a bit frustrating at points when I had to wait for flies to spawn low enough at a roadblock but overall the gameplay feels nice and keeping the momentum going when you're in big mode is a great little challenge.

Really fun! I especially love the music, and it's crazy impressive that you did everything yourself. The movement feels very polished - I did wish sliding down walls was just a touch faster in a couple spots, but that's a really minor thing.
