Remembered another thing I wanted to mention, I'm not sure if I just haven't discovered most of them, but I do wish there were a few more cultivation manuals, since the distribution seems to be a little top heavy, with there not being all that many earth grade manuals, but again, might not have found them yet.

Been playing for a bit now but forgot to write down all the stuff I wanted to mention, so I'll have to be a bit annoying and comment them in separate comments as I remember.

Now then, I'll just start with how damn glad i am to see more games made in a xianxia setting, its such a cool ass worldbuilding with so many awesome ass things that would be great for a game, but especially idle ones like this, what's the main staple of the genre if not cultivating for ridiculous amounts of time, and yet there is like, 5 of these done well, and another 15 that are low quality and mostly mobile games with like 2 mechanics, so its always great to see one that not only does the cultivation aspect justice, but has good

auxiliary systems along with it.

Now onto the game itself, (minor spoiler warning I guess, though most of this is visible even before its unlocked) as of writing this comment I'm on my first character, at the late stage of the void refinement realm, and I gotta say I really liked the meridian unlocking and heavenly gate breaking as a way of long term gain at the cost of slowing down at the moment, though since my character did row a rather low luck of around 42 or so, even after boosting in various ways the breakthrough chances for the gates were still not that great, usually no more than 50%, so I'd maybe like 1 more sort of pill to boost it a bit more like with the realm breakthrough ones, though I did get a bit lucky in this life to finish them up with relatively few retries.

Next, the time frame, since works in this genre characteristically take place over very, very long stretches of time, so naturally, as you break through your character's lifespan increases by a whole lot, usually doubled or more, though as you are told early on, 1 in-game is equivalent to 1 real life day, so you can do the math of 1 real hour being about half a month or 15 days in game, 4 minutes being roughly 1 day, and you can go from there, so you can probably figure from these rates at you'll likely not be dying of old age any time soon, not unless you spend 80 days without ever breaking through, which does kinda make sense, after all the main point of cultivation is becoming immortal. There is also some time limited things, mainly the secret realms which I ended up entirely missing out on due to my poor timing, as there is currently 4 of them, each of which has realm requirements you need to meet, and is only open a certain time of day, though since they only go up to the Nascent soul realm, if you didn't play through one before breaking through to spirit severing, there's no way to do it from there on. Other time based things would be the opportunities, which linger for a full real life 24 hours, so you probably won't be missing any of those, but do keep in mind you can only have up to 5 backed up. The time based mechanics i personally have some gripes with are the traveling between towns, which takes a couple in game days, between 4 and 7, and going off the math from before, ends up being quite a bit of time during which you can't do anything, and the other one is the seclusion, not because of how it works, but mostly the time frame options, since you can choose to go in seclusion for 7 days, 30, 1 year or 10 years, and again, going off the math from before, there is this big jump from 2 real hours, to a full 24, which just don't seem like very convenient time frames, so at least personally I would like to see a 6 or so hour option, though I can see why that might be a bit too easy.

I'll skip over the combat as for the most part its a pretty fine auto system and the skills and descriptions are straightforward, so there's not really any opinion to have on it.

The cave abode is really damn useful and has some really major upgrades in it that give really big bonuses, that being mostly the puppet workshop, formation array and especially the beast pen, which I'll get into later, and the qi cultivation speed upgrades are naturally really good as well, though the boosts from the buildings aren't as big.

Another random gripe that just bugs me for no real reason, I kinda wish there was a way to sort the storage ring a bit more, be it just by being able to sort by sell price or realm requirements, just to be able to have all your relevant resources on one end of the page, also maybe a way to show that a technique has already been learned without having to click on learn again to get the notification, I would mention an auto selling option, but again, I can see why that might trivialize things a bit too much.

Continuing down the left hand side menu, since I've already mentioned the only thing I don't really like about the world and cities, I'll just mention I quite liked the funky 3D model made up of like 5 shapes that just raised its arm to attack, really goofy but it was quite charming, the 3D walking segments as a whole aren't all that deep, since you'll mostly just explore until finding the 3 landmarks and secrets, but hey, its not the main focus of the game so it gets the job done, which I guess brings me to the next thing, art direction. While I cannot say I like ai art, since its mostly used for backgrounds or the npcs who you don't really interact with, and this is a genre without many freely available resources to use without drawing them yourself or commissioning, it can be overlooked for the sake of the aesthetic.

There's not much to say about to companion system, since you can only have 1, and there isn't really anything else you can do with the other characters other than that, I would maybe like it to be slightly fleshed out so that you could like, trade with them or something, since once you've partnered with one, having a good relationship with the rest doesn't really do anything for you, unless they are somehow related to the sect creation function which I haven't tried yet, in which case sorry for being a dumbass.

That does lead to the next tab, the sects you can join (not the one you can make yourself later), there's 6 to choose from, each giving a different boost which gets better as you get promoted, which happens by completing missions, which also nudge your alignment by 1 point in whichever direction your sect is leaning and give you a bit of sect contribution point to spend on mostly the sects techniques since the rest of the items can be bought in easier ways, though the amount of points needed hikes up quite quickly as you climb the floors of the library, already needing a lot by floor 7 of 9, so be ready for a grind if you want to learn every single thing the sec has to offer. It also lets you choose a master who offers some minor bonuses, and when you're strong enough, also get disciples of your own, who will such your dao points dry to level up, so I did kinda abandon them for all game, which has also led to what I assume is a slight bug where I can no longer try to level them up after my lightning dao reached the max, so uhhh, not sure if I fucked that one up, anyways, that does lead onto dao, which i forgot to put higher up.

Since its basically your mastery of elements and attributes, you gain xp in them from doing most other random actions, the effects they grant are pretty minor, with the exception of the lightning dao, which makes you more resistant to the breakthrough tribulation, and can only be leveled up by manually studying it or through opportunities, which you'll quickly notice almost always give you lightning dao comprehension, like far far more often than anything else, I'm not sure if that's intentional just cuz its harder to level up and the most useful, or if there is a mechanic to increase the chance of getting the one you're already the highest level in, but I would like to see some opportunities which help boost the other dao as well.

Since this has already gone long enough and there is all the skills left, I'll just cut it short, they all take a long long time to level up, and are mostly all useful, personally I'd say alchemy, divination, formations and puppetry are the most useful, with one I'd put a whole tier above, beast taming, which is far easier to level up than all the rest ad offers many interchangeable buffs in many things, so no matter when you decide to put time into this one, it'll always be useful.

Lastly, the meta progression aka the legacy tab where you'll prepare for your next lives, since I'm still on my first life I can't really speak on it from experience, but I think the best would be whatever upgrades you can get that retain the stuff you earned throughout lives, since as mentioned before, the skill grind takes a while, but you can only retain 30% of the ex at most with the full upgrade, so top priority I'd say is the cave abode followed by whatever else you feel, again, since I haven't started a second life, I don't know how useful extra rerolls would be as I made this character on the web version on which you could kinda cheat by reloading the page, so I just did that twice till I got an 81% purity variant wind root and rolled went with that.

That's all I can really remember is worth mentioning at this point in the game, so I'll wrap this long ass comment for now, not sure who its really supposed to be directed at, half towards new players half as feedback to the dev I guess, I'm likely forgetting some stuff but as mentioned in the beginning, I'll just comment whatever I remember under this one, hope this could be of maybe at least some use to... anyone, really, and hope you'll enjoy the game as much as I am, and to  the dev, its quite fun as is, so I'm really looking forward anything you might add in the future, cook on.

Really happy to see people utilizing the xianxia setting for an idle game, you'd think more people would've done it considering how well it fits yet there is only like 15 games. Anyway really like 3 mechanics for progression minigame wise but the actual impact on progression seems a little lackluster, the combat progression feels far slower than the qi progression and knowledge progression feels like it doesn't really do anything with how little it boosts stats, and after the first reincarnation getting it by just doing qi feels like it becomes too easy and the minigame just starts being used for getting spirit stones instead. I'd complain about the enemy illustrations not fitting in but its funny so it still works. I think maybe another upgrade or 2 in each tab would be needed to make it so resource gathering doesn't stagnate so much later on, especially for qi and organic materials, when you get to the last 2 or so breakthrough levels with it scaling 4 times every update they get real expensive compared to gathering speed and it takes real long to get enough, and for organic material and the other 2 to a lesser extent I think the boost from gathering levels is a little small, so in my opinion at least I think there should be some ways to speed them up later on, and probably make knowledge a little more useful. All in all, great concept, love the setting so maybe bias, the minigames are pretty fun as is but may need to be a little expanded on, and I think the game could turn out really well if its extended a little and the pacing is tweaked a bit, good stuff, keep it up.
