this is such a charming game! it has that charm that mother 3 had, but it also is very unique...all the characters are so likeable and it's all very nice! great job and i can't wait for the finished product! :-)

1. Hi there! What's your name? Want to introduce yourself?

Hello! I am Mauricio, but you can call me Mauri! I use he/him pronouns and I like to have fun. I am just a fellow jammer and this is my first time trying to finally complete a videogame! I've been looking forward to this for so long and I am so thrilled to finally have a chance to participate!

2. Did you participate in the last jam we held? If so, what do you plan on doing better this time? If not, what's your reason for joining?

I did not! My reason for joining is that well, college is closer and I want to hone my skills so I can come well seasoned, you know? I also would love to interact more with the people in the game development community, and start making some friends and connections. I also just love seeing people's work!

3. What games are your favorites? Did any of them inspire you, or made you want to make your own?

My favorite game is absolutely Earthbound, because of the dialogue, and how it truly hit me and changed me because of the time I played it. It is also a very solid RPG and I just absolutely love it! Other games I like, would be Fallout: NV, Fallout 4, Firewatch, Dishonored and Sonic games. :-)

They absolutely inspired me as they have changed me so much, let me figure out what I truly want to do and were just really really fun to play.

4. Do you have experience with game development? What did you do/with what engine?

I have experimented with GameMaker Studio 2 a bit, and I am currently taking a ZBrush course for 3D Sculpting! I have made tiny experiments for small games in GameMaker Studio 2, but have never really made anything...finished.

5. Tell us about something you're passionate about!

Well, I love finding out more about my culture and always enjoy learning new things! I am SUPER passionate about Earthbound, videogames (duh) and how they can give others a positive message and allow people to grow. Some random things I am ODDLY passionate about are (and these were listed by a friend): COWBOYS, disco music, Grace Jones, the 90's club scene and sports!

6. What are your goals for this game jam?

Nurturing my creative spirit and developing my abilities to the max! And also meeting new people and engaging a lot with you all.
