Thanks for passing this along — appreciate the help.

I read the "Getting indexed on Search & Browse" doc and the quality

guidelines before posting, so this isn't something already answered there.

My project has been public for 20 days and still doesn't appear in Search or Browse:

Project: Black Lotus — A Dark Fantasy Visual Novel

URL: https://matrix-workshop12.itch.io/black-lotus

Published: 22 Sep 2026 — Public, In development, free demo (Windows / macOS / Linux builds uploaded directly to itch.io, v3.0.0)

All four baseline indexing requirements from the docs are met:

- Visibility is set to Public — the page loads normally for logged-out visitors

- Neither "Unlisted in search & browse" nor "Disable new downloads & purchases" is enabled

- A cover image is uploaded

- The project has real downloadable files (not a keys-only or link-only page)

Searching the exact full title returns "0 projects match", both logged out and in a private window. It also doesn't appear for the query "black lotus" or under my developer name.

I contacted support on 23 Sep, 28 Sep and 8 Oct, and this is the only project on the account (no page was deleted or re-created, no other accounts).

My question for the community: has anyone had a page sit unindexed for this long and then get released? And is there anything else I should check on my side that isn't covered in the docs?

Thanks for any pointers.
