I have absolutely no idea if that's a yes or a no (Regarding the opening question).

I do appreciate the time and effort that went to your reply though. Considering you used the phrase "critising the trailer’s storytelling" I think I should mention that criticising is a very negative spin on what I've wrote.

Hey guys, I'm a game trailer editor and I have a question for you. Here is my website if you are interested. https://dragonflydigital.pl/

I noticed there are a lot of indie devs who are reluctant to work with trailer editors (mostly budget concerns) and prefer to make their own. I was thinking of ways to let indie devs use my services at a lower cost (but not at my own expense). My train of thought has led me to this question.

Would you guys consider booking a consultation with an experienced editor to guide you through making your own trailer?

I was thinking about meeting for a 30 min free consultation and then, if you decide it works for you, charging an hourly fee (around 40 Euro/h) to help devs with editing their trailers, proposing changes to their current versions and so on. I think it's a middle ground between outsourcing your game trailer, and making it yourself. BUT i'm not a game developer so I'd love some input from you guys. What would you expect from a consultation like that?

Sorry for a late reply, haven't been up to date with this thread. I don't post prices on forums since some editors tend to undercut each other. You can always reach me in the contact form on my site https://dragonflydigital.pl/ or directly on dragonflydigital_kontakt@outlook.com

Hello There

I'm Mateusz, a Game Trailer Editor with 3 years of experience in game publishing. I'd like to offer my services to the good people of this platform. I'm interested in paid projects but indie devs always get a 20% discount on their first 3 orders.

I've made well over 100 game trailers for various indie titles, festival promo materials, press content and cinematic sequences. I know all there is about elevating great games and I'd love to put those skills to good use.

You can check out my projects on my website or my portfolio page.

Cheers!
