Once I figured out how the manifold worked, this was really fun! I felt that it was a little bit too difficult at the beginning, but once I got farther the game loop was very satisfying. Overall, I really enjoyed myself!

Those are some very good points. The wait by default is a really good idea. Also I wanted to add a “go faster” button since I found myself getting impatient as I was testing haha. Glad you had fun playing it!

I liked the gameplay loop, although I couldn’t figure out what to say when you reset back to the beginning of the game. Other than that, I think the concept is really great!

Love this little game!

I really enjoyed playing this! I liked how you loop through the same stage but add more obstacles with each loop. The increase in difficulty had a good flow to it. I made it maybe halfway through fall before I finally gave up haha.

I don’t know if I quite understood what I was supposed to do, but in a way that added to the feeling of being stuck in the loop. I really enjoyed the aesthetic!

Glad you enjoyed it!

Glad you liked it! Thanks for playing!

Thank you so much! :) As a Linux guy myself I also appreciate when games have the native Linux builds, so I make it point to include those when I can.

This is a really cool game mechanic! It takes a little getting used to, but it is a very satisfying gameplay loop. :)

It took me a little bit to figure out that you had to click the level numbers to start the game haha. Overall I like the puzzles. Being able to end the loop early was a nice QoL feature.

My only complaint is that I got too panicked by the countdown clock when I was just trying to look at the stage. But this is a really cool concept! I really liked the level design and how the beginning levels properly teach the main mechanic of the game. The music was also fun to listen to, granted I definitely heard the beginning of it many times haha.

I had to look up what Conway’s game of life was since I had no idea what was going on, haha. This is a fun little simulation to play around with.

This would be a really fun way to learn dictation in music theory class. I noticed too late that you can make certain tracks louder so you can hear them better, haha. I got most of the way through the game, and I could see myself coming back to this so I can complete it.

Loved the vibe of the hotel as I played. Nice work!

This was pretty fun. Reminds me a lot of getting stuff to orbit in Kerbal Space Program.

This was really fun little platformer! Loved how the controls were very intuitive, and that the various mechanics of the level were easy to figure out, as well as the good increase of difficulty over time. That’s some great game design right there. The death sound effect is loud compared to everything else in my opinion, but overall this is really great!

Loved the concept here. Loved the narrative of the game, as heavy of a topic as it was. The artwork was great. I really enjoyed myself!

I really loved this concept, nice job!

I really loved this concept. Good job!

Very fun concept! The main mechanic was very satisfying. Good job!

Love the interpretation on the theme!

Glad you thought it was fun!

Glad you enjoyed it!

This was a lot of fun! I took me a little bit to understand the concept of balancing the monster’s weight to your building weight, but that’s a really cool mechanic!

Reorganizing your stats is a really cool mechanic. Good job!

Movement is definitely clunky, but overall the concept is good.

This game was really fun. The only thing I would change is putting the retry button in a more visible location. It took me a little bit to find the retry button in the pause menu. That being said, I played through this on the hardest difficulty, and I really loved the challenge! I also really loved the character design! Good job all of you!

It makes my inner engineer giddy to see someone who got the various electronics references. Admittedly my take on the theme wasn’t nearly as creative or cool as a lot of the other games’ interpretations I’ve seen in this jam. I wanted to throw in a grow/shrink mechanic that you could use to avoid certain obstacles, but it didn’t end up fitting in the time constraint. Really glad you enjoyed it though! Thanks for playing!

This is really cool! I love the way you’re essentially designing a level, but you have to make it work for either the hero or the boss. Loved the visuals and the music as well. This was a really polished experience.

Fair enough. The first time I actually put one of the finished sprites into the game, they looked like weird brains to me haha. The boss was definitely just a doodle in my sketchbook that I thought looked cool (and simple to draw a sprite for). Glad you enjoyed it!

Love it.

This was really fun. At first, I didn’t really know what I needed to do, but it didn’t take me very long to figure it out. Definitely a game I’ll come back to play some more!

That’s a good point. The blue guys were the most frustrating to deal with as I tested the game myself. Also, it definitely needs more variety in the enemies. I had a few more ideas of enemies I wanted to throw in but didn’t end up getting around to. Thanks for the feedback and suggestion!

There’s one of the spin double jump things where I would barely be too low to get to the platform. Everything else was really good though! Loved the visuals, and the mechanic of growing and shrinking! I think it makes some fun puzzles!

I love the concept of a card game where the only cards you can use are your opponents card. This was pretty fun!

I couldn’t score much higher than 130. As a musician, I really loved this unique spin on the theme!

This is a fun little concept! Even though it was pretty short, I really enjoyed playing it.

Glad you liked it!

I wish there were more to play, this was really fun!
