Oh yeah a proper tutorial is a good idea. It definitely throws a lot at you right away. Thanks for the feedback!

"Also I can't tell exactly what is supposed to trigger moving between the two game modes? Sometimes just placing a piece would do it, other times not? "

yeah haha that was me tapping into the theme a bit. Maybe too much. Pressing "R" will switch between modes whenever you want

I clicked until I couldn't click no more! It was a good time.

I didn't really understand the auto-drain feature. I don't know if it was ever kicking it or not. I just clicked the waffle a bunch if I ran out of things to click in the sidebar. Interface was a little overwhelming at first. A quick tutorial would serve well!

This is a great little game. I really enjoyed how simple but engaging the puzzles were and the world map was a really cool idea. Rather than just having some puzzles. It was nice to walk around the map. Also the little mini games were a nice touch.

I found the lava gathering to be pretty difficult. I wonder if there is some polish to be done there. Felt a little RNG dependent but maybe I'm just skill issue.

A very nice balance of fun and frustrating!

One recommendation I have is to make it so the level automatically restarts when the penguin or flag get vaporized. Pressing R is a nice feature to have when in the middle of a puzzle, too so I like that you added that.

Game is cute. I think it could benefit by adding some coyote time for when a player is running off a platform and making a jump. The shooting causing kickback is a nice effect. I was a little frustrated that the character didn't turn in the direction of the mouse click so that would be cool to add as well.

Game just made me rage but perhaps that was the goal! Couldn't get past the first section.

Me when I first load the game: ooo I love these kinds of puzzles

Me three minutes later: %$#@ this

Solid puzzles! Got them eventually. Fun mechanics that I think could definitely be expanded on

Game is funny and adorable. The art style reminds me of old mini clip games. I found the beginning sequence to be surprisingly immersive and the switch up at the end was a fun way to embrace the theme.

I think the wave controls could be a little cleaner and adding upgrades would be nice. Also some more sounds would be helpful to provide feedback to the player.

Ah thanks! You can press UP or W to speed up the piece or press space bar to drop it instantly
