Hi I'm looking for an artist / animator / UI person to help out with the visuals for a card game, and for a game designer to help with level design. The game is about filling out a grid of tiles by buying cards that interact with the board in different ways. I need help making the card art, the different tile arts, and designing and balancing levels.

I was initially planning to do everything myself, but am realizing that this would go much smoother if I had some help. If this sounds interesting at all, shoot me a DM on discord (@masiloh) and I can send you the prototype and answer any questions. Thanks!

uh oh, I used Godot 4.6. Do you remember what might've triggered the crash? And thanks for playing the game and letting me know about the crash :)

Hi just to update: I've found a team in the Discord server. Would recommend others looking for teammates / teams to also post in the server!

Hi hi, I'm a Godot dev looking to join a team. I can do some basic pixel art / music, but am best at writing code. I love metroidvanias and have always wanted to make one, but tackling it alone feels a bit daunting. Looking for a team to join / create to make something fun this jam :)

Ahh thanks for finding this! Should be fixed now :)

After playing some other games, I realize it might be an Itch bug and not specific to this game. It just happens when the games load, and I hear a lot of button click noises, and it seems like the website is registering lots of clicks somewhere in the game. I've tried refreshing and force refreshing, but it doesn't change anything. I feel like it's something with Itch or maybe my PC, but either way, will rate the game as if the bug doesn't happen :)

Hey thanks! Yeah we've gotten feedback that that level might be too hard :\ We wanted the jump to be a little tight to slowly ramp up the difficulty. If you want to try it again (or for future players), you need to use the secret blocks and jump as late as you can. Progress is saved so you can load the game right where you left off :)

Cool game! Using the broom to mop up the liquid on the floor was satisfying :) The spear attack felt very short and when facing up or down, it was hard to tell if I was attacking or not. I was also confused by the darkness and why I would see less and move slower, and if there was a way to fix that. I like the progression though and having to find different ways to get the key, nice job!

Wow this is amazing! Love the music and art and SFX, and the writing / choices are pretty nuanced! Really nice job, feels very polished

Wow this is so good... the art and sounds are top notch, and I'm super impressed with the mixing and matching of the curses and how they're shown visually. The gameplay is also quite strategic and I enjoyed learning the curses and being able to spot them without heavily referencing the book. Super fun!

WOOO love the atmosphere! Groovey music with the ghosts and other people dancing on the side is a nice touch. One thing that felt a little off was it sounded like there were 2 different songs being played at the same time..? I was a little confused by what the broom did, and I couldn't tell if it was intentional that the character moves a little when no keys are being pressed. But love the vibe and colors and spirit of the game!

I like the eerie atmosphere and the burning potatoes were incorporated nicely haha. The gameplay loop felt solid enough but is there an end? It felt like the time limit got super tight on day 5, and I got no indication on whether there were more events after that. The key unlocking the bottom burner was a nice touch of progression, but would love to see more ways to differentiate the days. Overall, solid atmosphere and gameplay loop!

Wow this is amazing! LOVE the art style it's actually so good. Mini-games are fun, sound effects are fun, the only gripe I have is that I had a bug where my clicks would register multiple times (maybe detecting all mouse down frames instead of limiting to 1?), preventing me from completing the simon says level. Once I failed, nothing happened. I really loved the sounds when you lose though and how the level lose / game lose start the same, very nice touch. Overall, superb game with tons of flavor and personality!

Thanks! We realized we needed a pause menu when we started getting dizzy from the distortion and wished there was an easy way to toggle it off mid-game haha

Cool concept! It was a bit vague what to do, but I eventually figured it out with the text hints when you click different instruments. Music is nice, and I like the rhythm game elements. Visuals are also great!

Wow the animations are so smooth! I couldn't figure out what the pages did and couldn't write on them either. I also got attached to one of the portals and couldn't get out, but otherwise, was fun and a really unique concept!

Nice game! Levels are very well thought out, that final level took me a bunch of tries to beat haha. Cool concept collecting the colors though!

This is super creative, LOVE the art style!! I like the sonic spin air attack, and the enemies are great too, especially the clocks!

Hey thanks for trying our game! If you're talking about the second world, there should always be a path to the finish, it just might be require a little platforming / exploration

Wow I love this, the levels are super high quality and I really had to think about how to solve them. Also love the healing progression throughout the levels, that was very satisfying and wholesome!

Thanks :D We spent a ton of time ironing out the details, so this means a lot :)

oh man hope you feel better soon! The "Healing" theme made me do a double take since it's so relatable haha. Hope our game can make you feel a little better :)

And glad you enjoyed the game! If you have any feedback, would love to hear... we weren't totally sure how to balance the difficulty and if it was obvious enough what to do, so feedback on that specifically would be very welcome :)
