This is really cool! I solved my problem of displaying characters by making a remix of a 14-segment display (same core design, but added a few things). I just added a bunch of LEDs to get this look

I also used it to make something similar, but at the same time a little different.  It's just easier to show than explain.

(I can't upload the video to YouTube, so here's the google drive of my video)

I agree with the RAM thing, but for the ROM, I just copy paste all the lines into the chip.

I figured out that you can use 2 LED's as a minus sign and arrange the LED's as a minus sign to the left of the    segment display

first, the minus sign was removed(don't know why)

second, when saving a chip, there are usually 3 options: Cancel, Customize, and Save

If you click Customize, you can change the size of the chip and the color. But you can also add any LED's, screens, or segment displays.

Same here, trying to make a simple 8-bit computer. I did make a chip that has 4096x16 (synced) RAM, but my performance goes from 1000 steps/sec to like 50 step/sec with just one of those chips.

I think it would be nice if there was a complete control guide in the simulator. Like before you load the project, there could be an option to read the control guide. It should be more expansive than the general guide here, and pretty much include everything you would need. Maybe a search system would be cool. I think it would definitely reduce the number of people asking questions about the controls here.

Thanks!!!

Is it possible to color the output pins? I know you can do it for the inputs, but is it possible for the outputs?

Thanks! I really wish there was an easy way to find these controls in the simulator itself.

My setup so far

I'm trying to use busses, but I can't figure out how to rotate/reflect the endings. So it just ends up looking really janky, please help!
