I love your concept. I think the idea is simple but genius. I would love to play it with more critters, biomes and content to explore.
Even in sandbox, it's already fun! I spend some time expanding my area. Thought: just by adding some counters (number of tiles, critters or trees for instance), you could give a goal and make it more a game than a sandbox.
Nice concept :) tough, the absence of texture on the walls makes it a bit uncomfortable to navigate though the maze.
The game is quit easy, 10 seconds for QTE are a lot. A bit of screamers and timer on the screen may help to create some pressure too I think (my humble opinion).
I've played it through the end, nice work!
Oh wow I love it!
What I especially love are the arts, the evolution of the levels (wasn't expecting that ahah) and the evolution of the critter itself (omg). The gameplay works very well too, I had a lot of fun avoiding ennemis and playing QTEs.
What doesn't work too well: the game was a bit too easy at first (at least for me), and suddenly hard at the city level. I had trouble reading the dialogues, probably involuntary skipped some parts. Finally, it is a bit hard to see the critter on the background sometimes (backgrounds could be a bit less saturated I think but i'm no expert).
Love how you interpreted and implemented the theme! The game is nice but a bit hard to figure at first (there aren't many input feedbacks and signs to lead us to what to do). I managed to get through two weeks, but I still a bit unsure about the scores' meaning at the end of the week. Would love to see more :)
