So sorry for the late reply!

There's definitely a way to do it (though it may be easier with a mouse than a trackpad). For the FPS portion, I recommend trying to keep your back against the wall, and moving along the walls as you shoot the pathogens. You can get them to kinda bunch up together and take them out more quickly. If your back is always exposed, it's easier for the faster pathogens to kill you.

I hope this helps!

Ahh hell yah, this track is beautiful! Can't wait.

Sweet, I sent you a Discord friend request. That's totally fine with me if you wanna work on the vocal mix! I have a Mac computer so I use Logic as my DAW, so if you also have a Mac I can work on the instrumentals for the track that is gonna have your vocals, and then send you the whole Logic/Garageband project to edit. If not, I can also just send you .wavs of the whole instrumental mix or the stems of different parts.

Hey! I'm a sound designer/composer and I'd love to join ya!

Here's a link to the OST from my most recent project:

And here's a link to my current (in-progress) sound design reel:

Let me know what you think! I'd definitely love to work on a mix for a track with your vocals on it, and I'd be super stoked to do the sound design too.

I really appreciate that!! I really liking combine spatial stuff (like kinda ee cummings style stuff) with a confessional vibe.

That's great to read. A lot of those hints came after receiving some really helpful feedback. I want the thing to feel like work at points, but I also want a good amount of people to want to finish the thing.

I also just played your game and really dug it!

This is a really interesting commentary on sincerity in storytelling and self-doubt. I also started to fall in love with the vibe of the environment and the people as I went on. Hell yeah!

(1 edit)

Thanks!!

A few less than 4? heeeeeheeeeeehehehehe >:-]

Pretty interesting! I got stuck during the "live chat" section though... Not sure if there was more stuff after that. Also, most of the subtitles were cut off on my screen so I couldn't read all of them. I liked the vibe though!

The vibe is so wonderfully murky and fuzzy. The sounds are amazing and so visceral, and I especially love the mechanic of teaching Grandpa words. Love it! I have to try it again to get the other ending lol

THIS is some great interactive fiction. Thank you for this.

What a lovely piece about your wonderful game <3 I can't wait to see your next project!

I love this!! Beautiful style, and great humor and emotion.

BLOODY GOOD

Great stuff! Lots of fun and the music/sfx are kickass.

Thank you so much for coming back to it and giving your thoughts! It makes me so happy to read them.

So sorry about the camera issues, I've been splitting my time between trying to solve what the heck is the issue with that, working on my current project, and my actual day job lol. Thanks again <3

Gotcha, ok. Thanks so much for the feedback!

Hi! I'm trying to fix this issue and I'll post an update when I do. I hope you'll be able to play it then! Have you experienced the same issue as foodandsuch (changing cursor speed) or has it just been slow and stayed slow?

Hey, thanks for bringing this up! I'm trying to figure out a solution to this and I'll post an update.

i give it 10 teeth out of 10

Thanks for all the great recommendations!! I'm definitely gonna check these games out. This new blog feature on itch seems like it's gonna help people connect more.

Thank you so much for giving the demo your time and giving some great feedback! I really hope you'll enjoy it in its updated/expanded form in the future.

(I plan on adding some more timed hints to lessen the confusion a bit. I want it to remain pretty enigmatic and maybe confusing, but like you said, I definitely want to keep the player's attention.)

beautiful...

WOW!! Hell of an experience.<3

wow, really nice vn! gave me some very tingly feelings.

This is the ticket right here.

Just delightful. This made me smile so much. I'm obsessed with the way these suited men walk. Also love the Debussy lol

Pretty damn cool! Gradual, very impactful changes in perception

So beautiful...

Good stuff! The sound and visual design were a great match. Very somber and eerie.
