Everything about this game makes me so so happy!! I'm an absolute sucker for beachy games, cafes and the handsome men working in them, also handsome sheriffs and bookstore clerks.

Also character customisation, room design, brekkie choices ;-; we're so blessed

I can't wait for the full game to come out, take your time and take care of yourselves, this game'll be more than worth the wait :D

Hiya! I'm not professionally experienced but I can do 2D illustrations and simple pixel art, I'm willing to learn to do more complex pixel art and I can try my best to match the current art style you're working with :D

I'm good with checking in to see if my art matches the feel of the game, and love farming sims (Story of Seasons and Rune Factory are my absolute jam), especially with psychological horror, it's like a beautiful fusion of what I like in a game  :D

Make sure to take care of yourself first and foremost! DD's a big project and sometimes it takes ages as a dev to finish a game, especially when times are tough, so I get it if it'll take a while, I bet it'll turn out amazing :D

Oof, it's 2023 now and there's still only a paid beta build from 2019

When it's a paid project, so it's best to be transparent, I'm sure people would like an update on how this is game is progressing, how you're doing and wish you well regardless of whether you're able or unable to complete the project, myself included

But is this expansion pack and the major base game update still a thing? 

If not, refunds are best, it's not fair for buyers to give money and then the creators go radio silent, aside from a kickstarter post for a different game that had an update, on people who paid for this content for over a year now

If something is going on, that's fair enough, I can't and won't fault anyone for life events happening, but please could you at least provide some transparency, so we're not all stuck wondering whether this project has been abandoned or not?

I paid for this game and I've been waiting for it for 3 years, and if it's shelved, please could refunds be provided for me and everyone else who paid for the pre-order?

I think this might be an answer, I checked up on Reine Works a few minutes ago and saw:

"Unfortunately, I've been dealing with a lot of severe health issues that directly affect how much I can work in a day between 2021 and 2022 (I've developed carpal tunnel in both hands, among other issues). Everything is still being worked on, but it's very slow. My goal is to have a playable update for each WIP title by the end of the year, but the Canadian health system has been fighting me at every turn to get treatment, so we'll have to see how it goes."

A totally innocent game which has no scary bits at all 10/10

(warning: there are indeed scary things, and it's a funky well-done game :D)

I understand that things happen, but you have to at least tell us how everything's going, this game page has been radio silent since about seven months ago.

When people have paid for something, you have to communicate with your audience and tell them how far or close you are to finishing. 

We care about this game and we want the best for y'all, even if it takes a bit longer, as long as we know how it's going and what point you're at, most people would be understanding, but we need to be updated.

If you can't finish a project (which is fair enough, you can't control life and what happens) you have to refund the payments, otherwise you've just taken money and left, and that doesn't seem very funky.

It's been 3 years and the payers (myself included) deserve their money's worth, if you're unable finish it, refund the payers, please :O

Again, if something has happened, I'm truly sorry, and I hope it gets better and I'd (and the rest of the fans of the game'd) be happy to hear updates both in general and in the game progress :D

How do I reset the codex's variables when a new game is started? I unlocked information on the codex in testing my game, but on further in the playthroughs the information stayed unlocked
