A tactical turn-based strategy game where six factions battle for dominance across a procedurally generated hex map.
About This Game
100-Hexes: Warfront is a streamlined strategy game that combines the depth of classic 4X games with fast-paced tactical decision-making. Command your armies, upgrade strategic villages, and conquer enemy castles to expand your empire across a vibrant 3D hex battlefield.
Current Features (Early Access Prototype)
Core Gameplay:
-Turn-based tactical combat with 6 AI opponents
-Two game modes: Conquest (control 100 hexes) and Domination (eliminate all opponents)
-Strategic village upgrade system with 3 levels
-Supply line mechanics - captured castles extend your reach
-Fog of war system for tactical uncertainty
-Attrition mechanics for disconnected territories

-Upgrade villages to increase unit capacity and income
-Level 3 villages provide defensive bonuses (1.5x multiplier)
-Captured enemy castles become supply hubs

Why Early Access Prototype?
100 Hexes 3D is currently in active development. The core gameplay loop is solid and fully playable against AI opponents, but I'm working on the additional planned mechanics, bringing the visual presentation and multiplayer features to match the strategic depth already present in the game.
By releasing in Early Access Prototype, I can gather feedback from the community and ensure the multiplayer implementation meets player expectations. The game is fully functional and enjoyable in its current state - you're getting a complete single-player experience with regular updates adding new features.
Development Roadmap
-Phase 1 (Current): Core mechanics, AI opponents, strategic systems
-Phase 2 (Next 2-3 months): Adding (and balancing) the planned second-layer strategy mechanics (more buildings, more construction types, units abilities, etc.).
-Phase 3 (Next 4-6 months): Faction-specific 3D assets and visual polish Phase 4 (6-10 months): Multiplayer implementation with lobby system
-Phase 4 (6+ months): Advanced features, balance refinement, community feedback integration

Command the Elven Alliance against the Orcish Horde in this turn-based tactical prototype. Deploy your forces, capture victory points, and outmaneuver your enemy on procedurally generated battlefields.
CORE GAMEPLAY
• Deploy units strategically within your deployment zone (columns 0-2)
• Capture and hold Victory Points (★) to generate resources
• Purchase reinforcements during battle to adapt your strategy
• Defeat all enemy units to claim victory
UNIT TYPES
• Vanguards - Durable frontline tanks with fortification abilities
• Strikers - Fast-moving cavalry with devastating hit-and-run tactics

Hey everyone! I just released 100 Hexes, a fast-paced turn-based strategy game that you can play directly in your browser. No downloads, no installs - just pure tactical hex warfare!
🎮 What is it?
100 Hexes is a medieval-themed strategy game where you command armies across a hexagonal battlefield. Think quick tactical decisions meets economic warfare. Each match takes 5-15 minutes, perfect for a quick strategy fix.
⚔️ Core Gameplay
Hex-based combat - Every move counts on the battlefield
7 action points per turn - Plan your moves carefully
Economic warfare - Capture gold mines (+20g/turn) and villages for steady income
Supply line mechanics - Cut off enemy territories to capture them without fighting
Capital conquest - Take an enemy's capital to claim all their lands instantly
🤖 AI Opponents (they'll get smarter, don't worry)
Battle against 5 AI players, each with unique personalities:
Conqueror - Aggressive expansion at all costs
Cautious - Defensive, protects capital heavily
Opportunistic - Balanced, exploits weaknesses
Frightened - Very defensive, avoids combat
Enforcer - Medium aggression, strategic strikes
