Hey , played the update ......
Your Knockback STILL needs work ,
Maybe it's just me but being knocked halfway across the screen added to the rapid flashing is disorienting 馃
you have coded very Aggressive enemies who don't give you a breather , tone it DOWN or make the player STRONGER
i.e player does not lose weapon upgrade upon death !
More combat options !
Increase the female sprite Gun reload speed or give her more bullets !

Hey , I can't help but notice you really have a love affair with the Knockback mechanic in your games !
What makes it worse in this game is that after getting knocked back your sprite ends up facing the opposite direction from the enemy sprite and sluggish player avatar response means that you usually get hit AGAIN !!! 馃が馃が馃が
Also players can be hit by enemy attacks that come from off screen !
Like ..... WTF 馃が馃が馃が
The animation for dodge roll is too .... Clunky ,not to mention that the double tap forward command is not very ideal 馃

Hello ,just stumbled into your game from a post on Twitter .
So the game has a nice story set up (i love revenge stories) but I get the feeling this is a work on progress as there is plenty of room to improve.
maybe it's me but the trailer video actually looks better than the main game itself , why is that ?What happened to the cinematic intro ?
The sprite movement needs more calibration ,this is essential since you have us jumping onto small platforms .
The save points need work , after the player selects save , the player barely had a chance to move away before the pop up displays again ! You can literally get stuck at the save point when the game doesn't allow the player avatar to move away from the save point !
The ladder animation needs work ?
I am at the castle stage and I am stuck there at one of the ladders becos the aviator doesn't transition from climbing to walking mode so I am stuck there !

One other thing , why does a Knight called Dawn RAZOR have a whip as his primary weapon ???
It's already enough that most of us can see that the player avatar is a reskin from GB game , Castlevania : Belmonts Revenge but the whip is just too obvious.
If the whip was a later addition as a wink wink Homage to Castlevania that would be a better way but I would think you want Zedekiah to stand out as his own character 馃馃馃.

Most of what I noticed has already been covered by the posters before me so I won't repeat that .
I like the world fusion of Castlevania & Biopunk ( Biopunk Vania , if you use that give me credit , Got it ?! ) .
I like that there is a story narrative driving the action rather than just another mindless hack slasher 馃槄
You should make the Blood surge icon unique , I legit thought it was another Heart unit I acquired .
On the inventory screen you can see the info' description of the Biomechanical heart even if you don't have one in the inventory .
I tried to continue a game after my last session from the Title screen but clicking continue just gave me a Black screen .
Looking forward to you cleaning up this Demo' and serving up something truly noteworthy for the Gameboy Community

Hello, put some time into Wicked Plague and it clearly has potential but is far from perfect.
Ramuels movements are somewhat sluggish compared to the Boss in this Demo & the lack of being able to switch from Melee to ranged weapon is a disadvantage which results in seeing the Game over screen more often than I would like ... There is a thin line between challenging and frustrating
That being said I look forward to the update of this Demo build with improved gameplay & Game lore.
Hey, I had fun with this Demo' . The Bright colors , cartoony backdrop, cute yet relatable player avatar and an interesting story narrative to boot.
I Have an issue with the lack of world Map as moving around in circles doesn't do anything good for the fun factor of your game . There is a thin line between Challenging and Frustrating 馃槗馃槗馃槗
Wish There were more Devs creating quality Homebrew games for the Gameboy Advance like you.
