Hey all, I've just released by first paid app, Dithertime. It's a graphical desktop application for image dithering. It's fast, but more importantly it's more accurate, correct, and extensive than other image dithering software out there.
Image dithering is a technique for emulating multiple colours with only a few colours. For example, a mix of black and white pixels will look gray from a distance.
The itch.io community might enjoy Dithertime specifically for aesthetic reasons, but also as a way to process images before they appear for games on special consoles like the Playdate or retro devices.
