I don’t want to be alarmist, but I’m very concerned about payouts on itch.io.

The oldest request here has been waiting ~100 days for tax interview verification. My own payout requests (188722, 193700) have now been “in review” for 39 days for the oldest. Sixteen days ago, staff told me my tax info would be verified within 24 hours. Still nothing. Ten days ago in this very thread, staff said “everyone would be sorted out” within 24 hours, but unresolved posts remain.

I’ve submitted multiple support tickets (301983, 301299, 300359, 303056). Only one ever got a reply - the 24-hour wait response. The amount currently owed is about $7,000, with another $350 about to be added.

I have wages and service providers depending on these payouts. The lack of communication is deeply worrying, not just for me, but for anyone relying on itch.io for income. I’ve been on this platform for years without issues, but this silence and delay makes me question whether I’ll ever be paid for the sales that keep coming in, and are holding me back from releasing new products.

Please give us a concrete update. Right now, creators’ livelihoods are at risk.

Edit: I have been paid on August 19th, 42 days after doing the request. 

Request 301983. I am now owed 7000 usd. It's been 35 days since opening a support ticket, and 13 days since I resubmitted the documentation you requested. Have attempted re-contacting you guys via e-mail several times, with no response.

I would appreciate a speedy resolution here.

By the time you read this the problem should be fixed. FMM needed a patch which will be out a few minutes after I write this.

There is no way around this. I recommend getting a better host, there's plenty of even free ones that do not have this limit.

Esas mazmorras son para gente que ya está bastante bien equipada, sobre todo la Dark Spire. Puedes editar los niveles de los jefes para que sean más bajos (la armadura de diamante normal es sólo de nivel 7 y la aguja oscura es de nivel 100-130), pero recomiendo simplemente conseguir mejor equipo para desafiar las mazmorras. La mejor mazmorra de nivel bajo es Primis, que actualmente está en Patreon pero saldrá en itch.io muy pronto.
