Heyo! I'm currently working on a short (paid) comic about a lesbian couple that involves a trans woman.
Is it okay if I submit my already posted stuff for now, and wait until I finish my comic to fill the form? Or should I fill the form ASAP without the comic?
Sorry to bother, and thanks for hosting the bundle!
Heyo! I'm currently working on making the panda ant (euspinolia militaris) as a playable species! I'll see if I can throw some more extra stuff on the pamphlet aside from that, but for now I'm thinking species' info + art of them + some info on the real bug as the inner page content. (it would be a trifold pamphlet if that's an OK format to submit! if not please let me know ;u;)
Heyo! I was checking my calendar and I'd have plenty of time to jam around the time this jam starts :]
So I had another question: Is it possible to make like a "collection" of multiple, different monsters as a single submission when the jam is running, or should we submit each of them separately when the time comes?
I don't know if I'm going to make more than one submission/monster when the jam starts, but wanted to make sure just in case I do ;u;
Heyo! I have a question regarding the jam's future winners.
Do we have to be from a specific region/country to be able to claim the prize in case we win in a category? Or can anyone in the world participate as long as they follow the rules?
For context, I'm from LATAM (Chile).
Sorry to bother, thank you for hosting the jam!
Heyo! I joined the jam a while ago, left it because I had no ideas for the theme I got for a good bunch of days and then rejoined today after I finally got a spark of inspiration q_q
My idea was to make a bunch of trading cards of my monster taming project based around the theme I got and make a really really small and simple set of game rules out of it? kind of? Got inspired by the whole Pokemon theming of the jam and stuff :']
I have a basic idea but it's more of an "art project" than a "game project" (but I'd still make it playable, even if the rules end up as an ashcan because of the deadline :[ ).
And thus I have the following questions:
1.- Is that kind of project allowed for the jam? Or should I focus on something else more similar to a TTRPG or videogame? Asking since it's more art focused than game focused ;_; (I read that any medium is fine but I still get paranoid at the idea of doing a whole project and then finding out it wasn't what the organizers of that jam wanted and thus I want to make sure it's okay ;_; sorry to bother)
2.- Are ashcans okay for the jam? Asking just in case I can't polish the rulebook fully in time ;; I will do my best to make it as complete as I can in the remaining week though (though if a jam extension or something similar is possible, that'd be awesome!)
3.- Is it okay if I charge for my entry? I'd give enough community copies for the participants of the jam if it's allowed ^^ if I should make it PWYW for the duration of the jam or something like that instead, please let me know!
Thank you for hosting the jam, and sorry to bother! ;U;
Heyo! Been meaning to make and submit something for this jam (and I wanna try and make stuff for as many 52/52/52 jams as I can as I really like making TTRPG things <3) but I've been having a hard time thinking of an idea for a game-related thing inspired by the Six of Clubs :[
That is, until I saw this rule/guideline on the general jam hub (https://itch.io/jam/52-games-in-52-weeks) that doesn't seem to be mentioned in this specific jam:
While the intention of the jam is to design TTRPG or other game elements or systems, the submission is also open to art, music, and any other manner of project!
The reason I'm bringing this up is I JUST got an idea for a short story inspired by the card in general and I've been writing it a bit (though it's 3 am here in Chile x_x) but I wanted to make sure I wouldn't mess anything up if submitting it ;;
Is it alright if I submit said story when it's finished and ready to publish?
Hope you're having a nice week, and thank you for hosting this kind of game jams! I'm excited to see what the next week's card will be :]
Heyo! I used the system again for a new game called NEWLY ROBOT FEELING! It's about two robots that fall in love with each other after being abandoned by their creators, and start sparking new emotions in their systems as they know each other better :'D
Thank you for hosting the jam for the system a few months ago. It let me discover a really good SRD for duet games, of which I haven't seen a lot of material for making stuff ;_;
Hope you're having a great day!!
