Now works with onyx+ too. Thanks!

Hello

My wifi router was in a bad mood this morning, I had several disconnections.

I was using heresphere and it was long to understand what was happening. The video freezes or the application just crashes without any error message. First I thought it was beacuase of the bluetooth connection, then I have tried to downgrade to v 9.0.0. Finally, I've seen the notification into the quest main menu about the wifi disconnection. I have rebooted the router and everything was fine.

Is it possible to handle this kind of network error and display a proper error message in the application?

It's not a high priority request but it would be great to quickly understand what's happening.

Thanks!

Ok.

I suppose you know the buttplug sdk : https://github.com/buttplugio/docs.buttplug.io, Maybe it could help you. Unfortunately it doesn't support c++ yet and I suppose you're working in c++ with unreal.

Thanks anyway!

Hello.

I have tested the v0.9.1. It's working better but it's very difficult to connect.

I had to pair the onyx with the headset. Without pairing it, I think it's impossible to connect.

If I pair the devices, after many tries, using the scan button, the circle button near it, maybe 10 or 15 tries, it finally connects and the movements are played.

I hope it will help.

Thanks.

No problem, I will be able to test.

Hello,

I've tested the new version 0.9.0 with my onyx+. It doesn't work. If I don't pair the device with the quest it's detected but the connection is lost very quickly and no movement is transmitted. It looks like the behaviour we had with haptics connect from SLR.

With Haptics connect we had to pair the onyx+ with the quest. So, I've tried that. After pairing it, in heresphere when I scan, there's a brief movement on the onyx but the scan fails. There's no connection and no movement when I play a script.

I've tried quickly with my launch and with the launch there's no problem, the device is detected and it moves when I play a script.

Thanks!

Ok thank you anyway.

Thanks for the quick answer!

I mean, I want to launch herespere and without using any  bookmark it opens my "defaut" location. It could be a smb share, a "heresphere" website etc. Is it possible?

Hello

The tooltip of the "stop" button says that if we use the button twice, it is supposed to close the video. It doesn't seem to work. When I use the stop button several times the name of the video still appears in the interface and I'm still able to seek into the video. A real close function would be useful.

Some suggestions:

- control with hand tracking

- be able to set a default source and open the web page (web API) if available

Thank you

Hello @HereSphere,

I can't reproduce the issue anymore. I have updated scriptplayer to the latest beta. Maybe something has been fixed on their side.

Now everything works good.

Thanks a lot for your support.

Oops! I think I've replied to the wrong person. Please look at the other answers.

If I look here : https://deovr.com/app/doc#remote-control

you must send the playbackspeed as a float but if I connect putty to your application I can see that you send it as an integer. Not sure if it's the issue...

Hello @HereSphere

I think that the timestamp server doesn't work as intended. It looks like scriptplayer is jumping from time frame to the next time frame but it isn't playing the events between. You can easily check that if you connect scriptplayer to the heresphere app. The timeline moves step by step but not continuously.

I'm using heresphere 0.6 (full) and one of the latest beta of scriptplayer.

Everything is fine with deovr with the same settings.
