So! I recently started learning Japanese, but after struggling to stay consistent every day... I decided to create a game to help make practicing easier and more fun.
I tested the prototype myself and actually enjoyed it. And now here i am trying to recruit 1 or 2 others so we can turn this into an actual game.
About the game;
It's a game about teaching Japanese (mostly Hiragana so far) with some deck building elements. Turn based combat, 3d, going for an anime style.

The player can defeat monsters, collect Kana, craft words using the Kana they collected.
I'm handling all the programming and game design so far. I'll also handle most/all of the marketing.
My goal is to have a Steam page and playable demo in 2 months max. This is a hard limit as i believe long term collabs are a lot more likely to fail.
Who i am looking ? First of all having some interest in Japanese language or culture is important. Other than that, anyone who can help out on art side of things. Making the game pretty, adding sound effects and music etc. And of course someone who is willing spare some time for this project. But most importantly, im looking for others who wants to ship something!
For portfolio, i will link another game i'm working on;
