I used the patreon version, and it's the most current version, have the most up to date plugins. Still can't get it to work.

I mean nit really, they dedicate time and effort, only fair that they get paid for their efforts. It's just sad that this version looks like it's going to become abandonware.

My guess is this version is, they probably shifted 100% to patreon. A lot of developers on here are abandoning the free public releases and going to patreon.

It keeps glitching, freezing, scrolling struggles, and the images don't show up. Older version worked well in browser on Android.

Sucks that this version doesn't work in browser like prior versions did.

Not entirely sure, but I do know for a fact that they intend a full blanket ban, basically forcing you to pay Google and/or Samsung for a license to make games for Android.

Like sideloading was the entire reason I bought an android, now they are downgrading to iPhone territory.

By the looks of it probably not. And seeing as android is about to ban sideloading/downloadable apps not authorized by Google, I'd say we may never see an updated android release.

There's really not much content to the demo. Too bad it's locked behind Patreon, I've been having conflicts between Patreon and my bank so Im essentially locked out of the extra content.

It says 0.12 is out in your patch notes but the downloads say they were last updated in 2024.

When is the renpy android version going to release publicly? It's been a long wait to be able to play the game. Patreon isn't accessible to everyone.

I guess this another one of those games that was abandoned before it was even functional, itch.io needs to crack down on stuff like this.

It says the game is Android compatible but it doesn't install directly, just downloads a zip file with no way to actually install the game.

It is what I used, albeit a bit older. Haven't tested with elderfield yet but did test it with other games I had, seems to work. Most rpg maker games can be played with joiplay with the rpg maker plug in save for a few rare cases.
