super FUN game! the hard techno music, the fonting, the pure simple violence of kicking, the level design with tight corridors, enemy placement, the end of the level rewards... all great!!! 10/10!
only things that would be cool QoL features would be controller support or remapping controls :) maybe some vsync. but those are extras, the core game loop is super fun, recommending to others!

hey, checking out the game after seeing you post about it on twitter. Have had OCD ever since a little kid. Mainly Pure OCD so really heavy on the graphic imagery/intrusive thoughts. Went through the same thing of not knowing it was “just OCD” until I chanced upon some random Reddit thread during some dark times. Probably most important chance thing to happen in my life, helped me get help and all.

Anywho, I totally relate, I do think the portrayal of OCD as a monster who tries to keep us safe in all the wrong ways by forgiving us to do things was pretty smart (and accurate). I hope someone who was like young me sees this and can realize there’s solutions for managing how our brains work. Sometimes the little monster in our brain sucks but I’m glad you got better at managing it too!

Was really really cool, the 3d models and aesthetic were my favorite part!

cute and short :)

The humor was definitely the best part, felt like I was playing the creators of the Stanley Parable's attempt at the jam :D

I love the resource-almost chaos management... wish there was an end-objective however, felt like in the first minutes not much happens so I spent it just waiting and preparing instead of dealing actively with chaos. Cool!

I think the core of the gameplay you have here is really solid, personally I think variety in level, in the virus (even the bigger ones doing more damage) would get that chaotic feeling much higher. Cool game good job!

At first it was confusing what to do, especially in the beginning when it was slower, but around the ending part of it when I was juggling: catching bees, planting flowers, planting trees, cutting trees, that was when it was at its best. Felt chaotic and satisfying to reign in some of that chaos. The bee animation is very cool, would love to have some text under the items to indicate what is what given the pixel art can be misleading on first glance. Good job!

The music was super cool, definitely fit the theme IMO. The gameplay was cool for like a minute or two, but after a while it felt repetitive. The things that caught me by surprise was that the fish didn't die right away, so it was unclear if they needed more shots or not. The fact that you can't aim in the way opposite you are moving was also not clear and made 'kiting' enemies really difficult, especially when it seems some of them match your speed as a player, you have no choice but to turn directions, take some damage and shoot, which didn't feel good. Cool premise!

ALL: I was trying to update game so I deleted entry w/o reading you can't re-upload until voting is over. BIG WHOOPS. Oh well, thanks everyone who played!

yeah the collisions too big was my bad attempt at fixing collision bugs, didn’t work out it seems. Thanks for playing!

thanks!! Ya I was having huge problems with the collisions, couldn’t really get it to where I wanted it to be at all, but thanks for playing and appreciate the feedback!

haha thanks! I def made it go very fast because that’s how I enjoyed playing it, I wanted to make it feel like you had no control lolololol, but ya the way you glitch out sometimes was not intended, thanks for playing!!! :)

yes, this game is amazing, but if the game was more intentional with (Oh we are starting you off in the tutorial, here's a picture of what buttons do what, this beat type does this lets slow down and practice), that would make this game much better. Also feel like losing is very sudden or at least catches me off guard every time, the heart break meter needs to have like a full screen effect in order to tell the player "you are not doing good." but great game!!!!

EDIT: Played again after this comment, it's the fact that the "Heart Break" indicator is so binary. For example Guitar Hero has a meter that communicates very clearly how well or badly you are doing, that even if you are going very fast you can see oh im in middle of green or red. This game would benefit from a similar design.

the game was really raw, and i mean in a deeply vulnerable way. at least that's how I would feel writing something like this, and it was pretty brave

Finished in around 15 min, was really cool! Boss was actually hard for me but it felt really alive! The attack patterns were a little chaotic for me and I enjoyed the feeling :D I do wish you could use the gold to purchase upgrades as well but I still enjoyed collecting the gold for the sake of collecting gold
