Great game, I really enjoyed the visual and sound style! Charming animations and also very cozy.

I wasn't aware of the book, so thank you for informing me. I just examined all the panels, and I had noticed that the settings panel on the main menu wasn't functioning properly, so I proceeded directly to the tutorial. My apologies for the oversight. I have one final suggestion, and I hope it's not too much. Perhaps you could consider making it more visually appealing with the inclusion of a bee or incorporating other shades of yellow similar to the buttons. This way, it won't go unnoticed by people like myself. Although in my case I thought it had to do with the version of the game, that's why I didn't clic on it, because it was very close, it's still my fault for not paying attention
By the way, I like the Bookworm achievement, very clever, it made me realize that I skipped something and had to go back XD

Thanks for liking the wonky graphics! I'm the artist of the game and really appreciate it.

Your game is absolutely awesome, I loved it! I played the browser version and it's incredibly well-polished.

At first I found the tutorial overwhelming with so many things to pay attention to, but once I finished the first level I was totally hooked. I passed all the levels without problems, the ones with a difficulty star, of course XD.
One small suggestion for UI is to consider turning the directional buttons in the menu level into arrows as the resemble the loading play button, just saying to avoid any confusion.
I explored the other levels and loved the different backgrounds and animals. It was great!

The addition of achievements is great, but I wish I could see the unlocked achievements. Perhaps you could consider displaying them using beehives, they would fit right in with the bee-themed aesthetic.
Also in infinite mode, I would have liked to know how many animals I defeated while in battle. It would have been nice to have a counter on the screen, not just at the end (it was 6 by the way).

My favorite part was the flower levels with options, I found it very creative. Seeing the flowers with their names and representations was a pleasant surprise that added to the fun.

Nice work!

Nice UI and sprites! I hope you can improve the game soon.
I noticed that depending on where you click in relation to the character, the swing goes in different directions. That was a pleasant surprise!
Keep up the good work, and I wish you all the best in remaking the game.

Nice remake with room for improvement! Although I thoroughly enjoyed the game, I noticed that there was only one level available, and I'm curious about the existence of the additional level you mention. It was satisfying to witness the two different endings, along with the game over and congratulations screens.

However, the character's movement felt a tad sluggish, and there were instances where it inexplicably got trapped behind the red pillars. I'm unsure if this was an intentional design choice or simply an oversight, as it seemed inconsistent, allowing passage at times and denying it at others.

Overall, the remake is a promising start, and with a few tweaks, it has the potential to become an even more enjoyable gaming experience.

Best of luck!

Nice relaxing game!
I really enjoyed how polished it looked. However, the rules were a bit frustrating for me. I suggest using different words instead of "adjacent" or adding an option to remind players of the rules in each level.

I loved how the game showed the tile change when it was correct for houses. It would have been nice to see the same effect for lakes and beaches when they were placed correctly. The contrast for fields and buildings was good, but I think a bit more contrast would be even better.

I assume you will continue updating the levels because there seems to be a numbering issue. After level 8, it jumps all the way to 41 instead of going to 42, and this pattern repeats for higher levels. By the way, level 123 is missing.

I appreciate that you provide language options, but I'm not sure what the last option is for. It looks like a paper and seems to be for copying, but I'm unsure about its purpose.

Overall, keep up the good work! I had a great time playing the game and I'm excited to see what updates and improvements you'll bring in the future. :D

Thanks, I was in charge of the art of the game. That's why i said so much about it in your game.

(1 edit)

Fun game with a funny backstory.
I just played your game update and the original, I prefer the original graphics for background and player character, would be nice to have them as a skin option too (circles), the new UI looks better, by the way the options of turning music and screen shake off don't work properly I think, at least on browser.

And to answer your other questions I think it can work better on mobile as the player can guide with their finger where to go. For fun I would give it a 6.5 and it has a decent UI.
By the way I'm the other team member on the Dora-out! game entry.

Thank you very much for playing and for the feedback on the art style, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you very much for playing and the feedback, those are really great ideas, some of them couldn't be done because of lack of time but we are working on the new updates and we will take your points into account to improve the fun. Thanks again for commenting :)

Good game, I liked playing alchemist being ripped off by a peddler, it was fun to figure out what the next animal would be and what it could do, my favourite was the frog.

Cool! then I will stay tuned for the new update to come out :)

I really enjoyed the game, I liked the characters(spirit and bee), tree and flowers animation is really nice, everything is really cute and well put together and if I had to say something else would be about the character background and the floor symbol(it would be nice if the character had to go there to charge it's abilities or something like that).

I enjoyed playing this game, it is cute, relaxing and very addictive!

I like to look from the telescope to see how far I'm expanding, also to check if the the traveling salescat is near by.

Thanks for playing and commenting, remember to stay tuned for future updates!
