Thank you, SuperMegaDav!
I'm currently working on an update for a mobile version. So it's perfect timing to look into other things as well. Maybe I'll try a particle effect for a better visualization of the eating/health mechanism.
Did you reach the nighttime level? I hope it doesn't put you off, that it will not be faster - rather the opposite, but quite tricky and difficult. After reading about the plans to release radioactive water of the Fukushima incident into the sea, I think this level adresses a very relevant topic. When you survive, a final battle awaits.
If you like really fast scrolling games you should check out https://oceanuprising.net/ This is really fun!!!
Again, thanks for playing my game and commenting. I really appreciate this!

During the crazy lockdown homeschooling time I created BLB as some kind of private art project with my son. We live in a digitally underdeveloped country (Germany) and I was really disappointed how dull and non-interactive all the learning material was. This really needs to change!!! So with this game, kids from two years and above (there's really no age limit - grandmother is also a fan) can learn about pollinators and other insects and hopefully have lots of fun with it!

Enjoy playing!
Hey everyone!
Check out my first game Ocean Adventurer. During the pandemic, I learned programming not to go insane. Worked in bits ;-)
Here's what it's about:
Being set free from an ocean theme park, this little whale is all alone and needs to find a school of dolphins to take her in. A dangerous quest lies ahead. Be aware of other fish that might sting or attack. But the greatest perils may not come from fellow sea creatures. Drifting ghostnets, radioactive particles and garbage patches are deadly traps...
I really hope you like it!
