I really like this idea, a man-versus-nature city builder. Makes me think of Frostpunk except in the opposite climate. I liked the ability to place my buildings anywhere and how you slowly figure out the correct orientation for things, like building pumps with walls in front of them and repair behind them in order to weather the large waves. I do wish there was a tutorial rather than a quick text explanations, being able to play through quick scenarios to explain what each building does would have helped. It took me a while to grasp that water was the reason my buildings were dying. It was also really easy to just build a bunch of mines to get basically unlimited funds. But with some re-balancing and polish I think this could be a really fun challenge, especially with different maps, buildings, hazards, and objectives.

I liked the aesthetics of it, although the UI got in the way sometimes, I only realized later I could zoom out. I wish there was some more ambient music to it, especially wave effects for the right ambiance. It would also help reinforce the warning of oncoming waves.

Despite my critique, I really liked the idea, I'd love to see it explored more in-depth!

That was fun, I made it to wave 6 with some practice. I agree with others here that the biggest challenge I had was finding the enemies or getting to them in time. Nothing wrong with that but I think the game would benefit from a non-linear level in that case so I could optimize my route. Or you could give indicators of where the next wave of enemies is with a map or arrows on screen or something.

I love mythology and folklore so that as the theme was really cool. I really liked the little touches like the parallax scrolling background and the music speeding up when you're running out of time. I especially liked the character and enemy art, they were simple but evocative. And the death animations for enemies felt really good.

I had the same issue as others. I noticed you just uploaded the .exe file which might be the problem. I'm not sure what engine you're using, but the output of a unity build is an .exe file, a "UnityPlayer.dll" file, and a couple data folders, all of which it needs to run.

I really like the concept. Super Hot with a sword has a lot of potential. I did have some issues playing it myself. I'm not sure if it was just my browser but I seemed to die if enemies finished their attack animation while I was within a short distance of them, even if I was fully behind them and avoided their spear. The best strategy I found was standing on the raised platform with a charged swing so the enemies came to me. It felt a bit unintuitive that the spear model hitting me didn't kill me but if they finished their animation it it even if they missed. But again, maybe that was just me.

I agree that some music would have been cool, especially if it slowed down or altered somehow when the game went into slow motion. Adding effects would make that transition more clear as it was a bit jarring early on trying to figure out what triggered it.

Very fun and addicting adaptation of the Vampire Survivor format. I agree with the other commenters that some extra juice and impact would add a lot to the game's feel. I will say that I wish the options were a bit more balanced. I played a few times and reducing cooldown is far and away the best option (so good that if I went too long I was untouchable until the sheer number of projectiles crashed the game). And the speed of the projectiles never seemed very useful.

All that to say, it was still a good addicting gameplay loop and there's a lot of room to expand with different enemy types and options to upgrade your little circle.

One small thing: even and odd. With 2d6 you have the possibility of getting both odd (25%), both even (25%), or one even and one odd (50%). Not sure about the full implications other than for the sum: both even > even & odd > both odd (on average).

I was worried that this would have exactly one twist. I'm glad that I saw it through to the end. Getting to the true end after all of the doubt and uncertainty and being mislead was genuinely thrilling and cathartic. Great work!

I see, I briefly looked up what bijective meant but couldn't find it. That's cool, thanks for explaining!

wouldn't 6 be written as 10 in senary? why the change?

Glad I'm not the only one who's thought to make a game to vent my feelings.

Thank you for playing! It was a lot of fun to make

Even unfinished this was intriguing in its mysteries. After I reached the top of the stairs I was a bit lost by all the "ready" prompts, but this has a lot of potential.

Happy Holidays!

A couple friends and I used every spare minute over the last two weeks to build a dreidel battling game for the 32-Bit Holiday Jam. It's free to play in the browser and we appreciate any attention you care to give.

This is our first released project so feedback is welcome and would be appreciated!

This was an interesting tactics game premise. Makes me think of Pyre. I wish that the teams had different colors to make it clear whose team was whose. I thought that the heat/cold mechanic was interesting, but could have been explained a bit better. But hey, limited time.

Overall, outside of those nitpicks, this was a cool concept. I can imagine a simpler tutorial mission with fewer characters, but boy do I know how hard AI can be. Good work!

I like the idea of the stealth game, but after many tries I can't get past the first screen and I'm unsure of the goal.

This was a really funny experience. Though I did feel like a jerk for not letting a guy go on his honeymoon. The art and the music were very nice and cozy.

I especially liked the moment where I got given the "Best Boss" mug as a gift.

This was really cute!

I don't know what it is about me that I was convinced something terrible was about to happen to these cats.
I enjoyed their personalities and their little community just felt comfortable.
I wish I could look around with the mouse, but it feels like a minor nitpick.
Good work!
