"overwrite files with the mod files"

So the main idea is to send the mod file.

Are they special files, or am I supposed to discern which of the original game files were modified and send those ones?

So there's not much mod sharing options then.

If WDC project files or related files held data just for the mod, and it could be applied by the compilation to an individuals output path, you could set something up for sharing the WDC project files.

I can only view the site by clicking the link on my mobile from FacebookMessenger specifically and the FacebookMessenger browser shows it, but then I try to open in Chrome, and it's blocked as well on mobile, and all desktop browsers.

Turns out pasting images doesn't work, but inserting images does.

Cool. Damn. I can't use that site. I just followed your 'Wolf3D modding community' link to go there, but I'm blocked, and this is not letting me show a snapshot in this message, I keep getting the error (imagine it's red):

Errors:

  • post: body: expected text between 1 and 20480 characters

—Block page footer: Cloudflare Ray ID: 9bc03ffb8f62781e • Your IP: Click to reveal • Performance & security by Cloudflare

I've never seen blocking this before. I've also never been to that site before.

What's the best way to share Wolf3D/Spear mods using WDC, and in what form, and where?

Are the extra file options (project/WAD) for sharing our mods using WDC data so that we don't break copyright laws by sharing game files directly?
