Thank you very much! I would have loved to put music, but the free version of the program I used didn’t let me :(

Thanks a lot!!

Thank you very much!

Absolutely wonderful. The music is absolutely great, and you should upload it to youtube or something. Great job!

Thank you very much!

Thanks!!

Thanks for playing! I’m making a post-jam version of it, don’t worry :)

I know the starting text feels a bit like the Bible but the engine does not provide any way of making cutscenes / cinematics. Thanks for playing!!

Thanks!!

I actually could have done a saving system but I thought if there were one it would be excessively easy. I’m planning to improve the game post-jam and maybe I’ll do an “easy mode” with save states. Thanks for playing :D

I know the movement is a bit weird, but it’s part of the constraints the engine I used (Whimtale) has. It’s a minimalistic engine so a lot of its aspects are restrictive. But yeah, it’s a bit annoying.

Thank you very much!

thanks! I’ll rate yours in a day or so :)

Thanks!

I’ll rate yours don’t worry :)

Hello! Here is my game :)

https://luisworks-studio.itch.io/spin-to-win

Thankssss

sure!

Hiiiii!

Good luck everyone :)

Hi! I made this game for the jam  (https://luisworks-studio.itch.io/spin-to-win) and it's my first jam and I'm not sure if it's good enough. Could someone playtest it?

Appreciate it!!!

Thanks :D

My game is Give the Spin to Win. It's about giving a magic orb (called The Spin) to a wizard named Win.

Thanks for making the video!!!

Oh thanks!!

The Legend of Elda: Ink's Awakening

Thanks! Glad you liked it!

About the map size, I think it's a good move to prioritize first making the engine smoother, and I also get that's how you imagined it, so no worries!

Thanks!! :D

Yes... :( I mean I get it's supposed to be minimalistic and that's great, but maybe 4x4 or 5x5 would be great. It's however how André and Digufi imagined it so that's great. Glad you enjoyed it !!

(1 edit)

Aaand... We have a new game!! An Ink To The Past

Hope you like it :D

Hellooo

Is there planned support for the app on iOs?

Thankss :)

Thanks!!

Thanks! Good to know it :)

You're welcome :D

(EDIT) 5. Smooth movement: instead of tile-by-tile movement, it would be cool if the player just slided.

6. As VM81 pointed out, we need enemy rename.

Yeah, that's what I thought! Thank you very much!

I was originally going to do the games in chronological order, but then I realized that, although I've played Zelda 1 and 2, I haven't played A Link to the Past, so I can't do it justice. That's why I did Link's Awakening (one of my favourite games) instead of A Link to the Past. I'll play a bit of A Link to the Past and then I'll do it's tribute.

I hope that makes sense :)

Oooooh... I didn't knew that! It would be cool if that was more explicitely told in the editor, and it would also be cool if we could disable that option (just like the skills). :)

Thank you very much!

Hi!

I've been making games with TRS for a while, and I thought maybe it would be good if you started translating the engine to other languages. So if you ever consider translating TRS to spanish, tell me please!! :D

Thanksss!!! Next one is An Ink To The Past...

We have the 3rd entry in the series!!! Ink's Awakening!!

Hope you like it! :D

Well, i've been testing it and it still occurs. Also, it seems the sword actually disappears, as in the final boss of my game (Adventure of Ink) the player can collect a golden sword before the fight, but if they gain some xp before the boss, the sword dissapears and the player does only 1 damage.
